Obituary:
John B. Stein, Jr. 533 E. Coolidge Ave. Age 51, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. He was born June 16, 1919 in the town of Van Den Broek. Mr. Stein had owned and operated the Stein Service Station. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the American Legion. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances Leisch Stein; his mother, Mrs. John Stein, Sr. of Appleton; two brothers, Frank H., Appleton; James R., Kaukauna; five sisters, Mrs. Frances Vander Linden, Green Bay; Mrs. Gordon (Marie) Simon, Appleton; Mrs. Floyd (Bernice) Weisnicht, Green Bay; Mrs. Robert (Jane) Bauman, Appleton; Mrs. Carl (Margaret) Van Vreede, Iron Mountain, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1968.

John married Liesch, Frances Aft 1937. Frances (daughter of Liesch, Edward and Weiss, Helen) was born 8 Feb 1922; died 20 Mar 1995, Appleton, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; was buried , St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Appleton, Wisconsin, USA. [Group Sheet]
