    I'm looking for information on John Daufen who emigrated to the town of Trenton/Saukville with 3 sisters, one may be Angela Daufen b.1826 around 1851 from Prussia. He married a Maria Berndt/Berens but I have no record of the marriage,emigration or naturalization. They had 8 children..

    William Dausen, 68, of 334 Bowen street, Oshkosh, died in Oshkosh at 7 p.m. Tuesday after a 3-week illness. He was born Oct. 23,1891, in Newberry, Wis., and lived in Dale
    until 35 years ago. Funeral services will be a 11 a.m. Friday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church, Hortonville, with burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Borchardt and
    Moder Funeral home,; Hortonville, after 2 p.m. Thursday. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday. Survivors include the widow, the former Miss Florence Miller, Hortonville; one son, Kieth, Oshkosh; two brothers, Joseph and Clarence, both of Dale; one sister, Miss Lenora

    William Daufen Dies in Oshkosh, Funeral Friday
    William Daufen, 68, of 334 Bowen St., Oshkosh, who died at Mercy Hospital at 7 p.m. Tuesday after a three-week illness, will be buried in Parish Cemetery, Hortonville, after 11 a.m. rites Friday at SS. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church.
    The Rev. Leo Pzybylski will officiate. Friends may call at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home from Thursday afternoon until services.
    The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday.
    Mr. Daufen was born in Newburg, Washington County Oct. 23, 1890, and lived in Oshkosh for the past 35 years, coming from Dale. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Oshkosh Chapter of DAY.

    DAUFEN - Funeral services for Mary Louise Daufen. 11-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Daufen. 275 Grove street, were held Monday at St. Mary's Catholic church with the Rev. Alvin Auer officiating. Burial was at Hortonville cemetery. The honorary pallbearers were classmates of the deceased: They were Mary Baird. Mary Wall, Mary Hunt, Mary Finiak. Betty Jane Gaab, and Ellen Mary Mertz. The active pallbearers were Mathew Freun, Harold and Henry Duex, Edward Marheine. Francis Hintz. and Ray Manion. The child died at Mercy hospital Friday morning. Besides her father and mother, she is survived by a brother, Keith.
