    Obituary:
    Leila V. Krueger, age 92 of Clintonville, passed away Sunday morning, June 25, 2017 at her home surrounded by loved ones.
    Leila was born on September 24, 1924 in the Town of Deer Creek, Outagamie County as the daughter of the late Herman and Olga (Wilfuer) Koehler. She was baptized on October 19, 1924 and confirmed on June 12, 1938. On September 21, 1946, Leila was united in marriage to Lawrence Krueger at St. John's Lutheran Church in the Town of Deer Creek. Lawrence preceded Leila in death on September 21, 2013 after 67 years of marriage. The couple farmed in the Town of Deer Creek until they moved to Clintonville. Leila worked at the Dime Store and the Shoe Factory until her retirement in 1989. She was a longtime member of Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville where she enjoyed her Miriam Circle meetings, Bible Studies, taught Sunday School, helped with the Salad Luncheons, and helped serve at many funerals. Leila's hobbies included dancing, delivering Meals on Wheels, socializing with family and friends, traveling to almost all 50 states, living in Arizona as a snowbird, and playing cards and bingo at the Senior Center. Leila will be missed for her excellent seamstress skills and putting others before herself. She was always thankful for the blessings of a healthy life.
    Survivors include:
    Her Daughters: LaVonne & Pastor Bill Kirchner, Wauwatosa.
    Sheila & Tom Mielke, Onalaska.
    Ronda & Dale Olson, Clintonville.
    Grandchildren: Heather & Pastor Scott Hojnacki, Red Bud, IL; Chad & Katie Kirchner, Franklin; Nicki & Chad Paulos, Oshkosh; Tricia Mielke, La Crosse; and Ryan Mielke, Hudson.
    Great-Grandchildren: Justin and Seth Kirchner, Franklin.
    Sister: Bernice Meidam, Clintonville.
    Also numerous nieces and nephews.
    Leila was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lawrence, sisters; Elda & Kenneth Conradt, Frieda & Walter Volz, and Eunice & Chester Heiman, and sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law; Art Meidam, Alvina & Orville Zahn, Cora & Milton Habeck, Lorraine & Leon Jacoby, Edna Krueger, Rolland Krueger, and Carl Krueger.
    Leila's funeral service will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 11 AM at the Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville with Rev. Brian Crocker officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date at the Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated for the Christus Lutheran Church Roof Fund.
