    Obituary:
    Elizabeth "Betty" M. Schampers, age 70, of Seymour passed away Friday, July 11, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born June 7, 1944 daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Steinhorst) Paider. On October 11, 1969 she was united in marriage to Melton "Buck" Schampers. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2009.
    She was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Seymour. Her strong faith guided her to help others through volunteering at church.
    Betty was involved in the community volunteering at St. Vincent DePaul, Seymour Food Pantry, Fallen Timbers, Community 2000, and Meals on Wheels. She continued giving by giving the ultimate gift, the gift of life, by being an organ donor.
    She enjoyed time spent with her family and the cottage up north. Betty liked swimming, reading, quilting, her outings with friends, and getting together for lunch.
    Survivors include her daughters: Tammy (Jim) Oskey, Freedom; Penny Schampers, Seymour; Vickie Schampers, Green Bay and Gina (Mike) Schampers, Seymour; five grandchildren: Jeremy, Max, Luke, Cameron, Kiley, and an expected granchild; two brothers: Robert (Agatha) Paider, Greenleaf, Richard Paider, Marshal, WI; sister, Mary Blohowiak, Mishicot; brother-in-law, John Kornowski, Green Bay; sister-in-law, Madeline (Dennis) O'Connor, Green Bay.
    She was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Carolen Kornowski; brother-in-law, Joseph Blohowiak; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Elmer and Mathilda Schampers.
    Friends may call at St. John Catholic Church in Seymour on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 3 pm until the funeral mass at 6 pm with Father Bob Kabat officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery at a later date.
    Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com.
    The family would like to thank the Seymour Police Department and First Responders, St. Mary's ICU Staff and Dr. Gallion, St. Mary's Hospital Chaplains, the Wisconsin Donor Network, and to the good Samaritan that called 911.
