    Obituary:
    Rosemary E. Busse, age 88, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Kindred Hearts in Kaukauna. She was born on July 20, 1923 in Appleton. In 1941 she married Foster Busse.
    Rosemary is survived by three daughters: Sandra (Michael) Hansel of Menasha, Judith (Hazen) DuFrane of Kaukauna and Mary Lou Gerard of Kaukauna; one daughter-in-law, Sharijoy Busse of Kaukauna; she is further survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Foster Sr., two sons, Gary and Foster Jr., and one son-in-law, Gerry Gerard.
    Prayer service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 16, 2012 at Fargo Funeral Home, 400 West Wisconsin Ave., Kaukauna. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will take place at Kelso Cemetery in Kaukauna.
    Special thank you goes to the staff at Kindred Hearts for all their love and care that they gave our mother. Your kind acts will never be forgotten.

    Kositzke, Muriel In His grace and mercy, the Lord called the soul of His servant Muriel (Mur) A. Kositzke, age 84, to Himself on Saturday, March 5, 2016. She died at home at Shorewood Commons in Rochester, MN, after a short battle with cancer.
    Mur was born May 31, 1931, in Appleton, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Raymond F. Haase and Lucille (Kositzke) Haase. She was baptized into faith with Christ on July 5, 1931, at St. Paul Lutheran in Appleton, and confirmed her faith there on March 25, 1945. She married James O. Kositzke on July 16, 1955, at St. Paul Lutheran. She was a Physical Education teacher in several Wisconsin cities before and after being married.
    Mur lived most of her life in Appleton, a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and Faith Lutheran Church. She was active in church and community organizations, assuming leadership roles in some of them. She loved to golf and work in the yard, and she was in a monthly dance club and weekly couples golf league with husband Jim. Mur and Jim moved to Rochester in 1999, becoming residents at Shorewood Senior Campus and members of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. They enjoyed following the activities of their children and grandchildren either locally or across the miles, and enjoyed the community they found at Shorewood. Mur was an avid Twins fan and watcher of sports on TV.
    Mur is survived by son Michael (Carrie) of Chino Valley, AZ; daughter Julie Stevens (Mark) and grandchildren Sarah and Ben of Rochester; sister-in-law Audrey Haase; and two nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by husband Jim, parents, brother Daniel R. Haase, grandson Matthew Kositzke, and nephew Daniel L. Haase.
    Mur's family extends profound thanks to the staff at Shorewood Commons and Comfort Home Health for the many kindnesses and wonderful care that Mur received over the years, and to Seasons Hospice, especially Megan and Jody, for their help and care during Mur's final weeks.
    Mur's funeral will be held at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Rochester on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at 11:00 am with the Rev. Dr. Charles Ortloff officiating. Friends may greet the family beginning at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Rochester or to Seasons Hospice in Rochester.

    Foster A. Busse, age 60, of Kaukauna, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at Appleton Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 18, 1948, in Appleton, the son of Foster O. and Rosemary (Haase) Busse. On October 12, 1972, he was united in marriage to Sharijoy A. Spietz at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Wrightstown. Together they celebrated 36 wonderful years of marriage. Foster enjoyed fishing and hard water fishing with his entire family as well as his many friends. Everyone enjoyed the ice shanty which was considered a luxurious "hotel on ice." He also spent countless hours in Robbie's garage with Aaron, Jan, and other friends. Another of his real joys was his truck "Black Beauty."
    He is survived by his loving wife, Sharijoy; two very special sons: Chris (Carla) and their children: Christopher and Colton; Kurt (special friend Michele Ludvigsen and her children: Deserae, Nick, and Jonnie), all of Kaukauna; his mother, Rosemary "Grandma Rose;" three sisters: Sandy (Mike) Hansel, Judy (Hazen) Du Frane, and Mary Lou "Smurf" Gerard. He is further survived by Sharijoy's family: Marianne (Lloyd) Nimmer, Betty (Keith) Nollenberg, Fred (Judy) Spietz, Larry (Georgie) Spietz; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Preceding him in death were his father, Foster O. Busse, a brother Gary, a grandson Caleb, his mother and father-in-law: Harry and Alice Spietz, and a brother-in-law, Gerry "Bear" Gerard.
    Funeral services for Foster will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2008, at Bethany Lutheran Church, 124 West 10th Street, Kaukauna, with Rev. Walter Steinbach officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Kaukauna. Friends may call at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna, 920-766-2099 on Friday from 3-7 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
    The family wishes to extend their gratitude to "Grandma Rose" for the never ending love and care provided to her son, to Rev. Walter Steinbach, to Wayne and Lisa for all the soup, rolls, and cookies, to Dr. Danz, Dr. Guenther, as well as the entire staffs of the Martha Sieckman Cancer Center, Appleton Medical Center, and the Kaukauna Clinic.
    Foster will be deeply missed by Scooby who Foster referred to as "not a real dog" and his cat Dorothy.
