Obituary:
Thaleta "Tilly" M.H. Thiel, age 98 of New London, passed away September 19, 2016 at St. Joseph Residence in New London. She was born on June 8, 1918, in Hortonville, the daughter of the late Arthur and Agnes(Maas)Radichel. On October 26, 1940, Tilly was united in marriage to Harvey Thiel at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hortonville. He preceded her in death on October 2, 1990. Tilly was an active member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Dale. Her strong faith guided her to help others through volunteering, serving with the Ladies Aid and helping at the Food Pantry. Tilly loved to do embroidery, crossword puzzles, watch Packer games, and especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by four sons, David(Marie)Thiel, Hortonville; LeRoy Thiel, Kaukauna; Dennis Thiel, Fremont and Dewey(Jane)Thiel, Dale; her daughter, Joann(Tony)Jansen, New London; a son-in-law, Henry Sommer, Fremont; a former daughter-in-law, Nyra Thiel; 10 beloved grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, and two grea-great-grandchildren; a sister, Lucille Krause, Racine; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Radichel, Hortonville and Arlene Radichel, CA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Tilly was preceded in death by her daughter, Darlene Sommer; three brothers, Leland, Harold and Kenneth Radichel; a daughter-in-law, Sue Thiel; and a sister-in-law, Connie Radichel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11AM at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, N926 Dale Ave., Dale. Rev. William Finn will officiate. Burial will be in Dale Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, at the church, from 9AM until the time of service.

Tilly's family would like to thank the entire staff at St. Joseph's Residence for the care, compassion and love given to her and her family during her time there. A special Thank you to Lynn Adams and Nancy Bellile. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

Obituary:
Darlene S. Sommer, age 65 of Medina, passed away at home on Monday, February 6, 2012, due to the ravages of pancreatic cancer. Darlene was born in New London, WI on February 14, 1946 to Harvey and Thaleta(Radichel)Thiel. Darlene attended New London High School where one of her fondest memories was being on the prom court. On October 30, 1965, Darlene was united in marriage at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dale, to her husband of 46 years, Henry J. Sommer, Jr. Throughout her life, Darlene worked for various employers, and most enjoyed the years she spent working at Air Wisconsin at the Outagamie County Airport. Darlene was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Church in Greenville, and she enjoyed gardening, flowers, and scrap-booking.
Darlene is survived by her husband, Henry; two sons: Kevin (Kathy), Prescott, WI, and Timothy (Lori), Hortonville; four beloved grandchildren: Jesse, Mari, Grayson and Jensen; her mother Thaleta Thiel, New London, four brothers: David (Marie) Thiel, Hortonville; LeRoy (Sue) Thiel, Little Chute; Dennis Thiel, Fremont; and Duane (Jane) Thiel, Dale; a sister, Joanne (Tony) Jensen, Weyauwega; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Kester, Larsen; Lucille Marquardt, Appleton; Wilmar (Ginny) Sommer, Waupaca; Melvin (Elaine) Sommer, Neenah; and Orla (Steve) Tolleson, Alaska; numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Darlene was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Thiel; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Henry and Lorna Sommer; two brothers-in-law, Earl Kester and Clifford Marquardt, and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Valeria and Clifford Oppor.
Christian funeral services will be Friday, February 10, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, N615 Meadowview Dr, Greenville. Rev. Paul Shackel and Reverend Nathan Reichle will officiate. Burial will be in Dale Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont and on Friday, at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be preferred to Darlene's family. Funds will be directed in Darlene's name towards pancreatic cancer research.
Darlene's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of the ThedaCare at Home Hospice.
