    Mrs. August (Minnie) Wichman Formerly of Seymour Age 87, passed away late Monday evening in a Green Bay nursing home following a long illness. She was born October 30, 1886 in the Township of Osborn, Outagamie County. On September 12, 1906 she was married to August Wichman who passed away on December 24, 1958. She was a member of the Freedom Moravian Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Elsie) Rohm, Rt. 1, Seymour; three sons, Henry, Suring, John of Green Bay, and Gottlieb of Appleton; a brother, Albert Wagner of Appleton; twenty-three grandchildren and sixty great-grandchildren. Three brothers and two grandchildren preceded her in death. Friends may call at the Muehl Funeral Home at Seymour after 4 p.m. on Thursday, until 9:30 a.m. Friday, and then at the Freedom Moravian Church where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. Rev. Clarence Wollin will officiate. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

    John W. Wichman Seymour Age 89, formerly of Green Bay, died Tuesday night at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour.
    He was born July 7, 1911, in Osborn Township. He is survived by his children, Lisa (Wayne) Hansen, Pulaski; Ronald (Mary) Wichman and Bob Wichman, Green Bay; Bill (Ann) Wichman, Gurnee, Illinois; Tom (Jo Ann) Wichman, Seymour; step-children, Michael Timmer and Leonard Timmer, Green Bay; Jim Timmer, North Carolina; Lynn Demerath, Oconto; grandchildren; a sister, Elsie Rohm. He was preceded in death by three brothers. Friends may call on Thursday at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, from 3 p.m. until services at 7 p.m. with the Reverend Bob Smith officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery.

    Norman E. Rohm, 83, of Seymour, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016, at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born in the Town of Osborn, April 6, 1933, son of the late Alvin and Elsie (Wichman) Rohm. He was baptized and confirmed in the Freedom Moravian Church.
    On May 23, 1959, he was united in marriage to Linda Rusch in Seymour.
    Norman was a member of New Life United Methodist Church, Seymour. He was a farmer and a machinist or 47 years. Norm was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener, card player and enjoyed going up north to his trailer. He enjoyed time spent with his family most of all. Norm battled Parkinson's for 14 years.
    Survived by his wife, Linda; his sons: Merlin (Peggy) Rohm, Duane (Theresa) Rohm, and Keith (Paula) Rohm; five grandchildren: Katie (Dane) Checholinski, Kimberly Rohm (special friend Mike), Callie Rohm, Sarah Rohm, Jacob Rohm; one great grandchild, Mary Checholinski; brother, Vernon Rohm, Seymour; sister, Alice (Bob) Prindel, Neenah; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara (Vic) Muenster.
    Norman is preceded in death by his in-laws: Anelda (Roger) Wisniewski, Bill (Catherine) Rusch, Guy (Dolores) Rusch and Margaret Rohm.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. Visitation will continue at New Life United Methodist Church, Seymour on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rebecca Henry officiating.     Evan L. "Bud" Wichman, age 80 of Neenah, has left the building. He was born August 18, 1934 to the late Henry and LaNiece (Evans) Wichman in Appleton, and married Beverly Bodway, whom he loved dearly. He felt overly blessed to have spent 58 years of his life with her by his side and always considered her "above him."
    Bud was a Veteran Marine, having served his country proudly. He also prided himself in his work at Bergstrom/PH Gladfelter Paper before retiring in 1993. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and maintaining his yard and also loved spending time at his cabin in Mountain on Pocquet Ln with his family.
    Bud left the building not singing any praises, although he liked to think he helped a lot of people throughout his life both personally and professionally. He loved people. He did recognize that he argued with many of those people, and begged forgiveness of those he may have hurt. It was never his intention to hurt anyone.
    He tried to bring humor into life and quipped: "I am what I am."
    Bud is survived by his wife, Bev; seven children: Kathy (Dave) DeWilde; Scott Wichman; Cindy (Judd) Meyers; TerriBeth (Kevin) Wood; David (Lana) Wichman; Nancy (Bob) Hans, Surprise, AZ; and Daniel (Michelle) Wichman; Grandchildren: Brad; Ryan (special friend Melissa); Matthew & Michael (Kyler) DeWilde; Jason Wichman; Nicole (Chad) Hamilton; Judson Meyers; Carl (Jessie) Meyers; Carli & Wilson Wood; Captain Thomas Wichman; Heather (special friend Mike Voss) Wichman; Vadim Zhenar, CA; Cassandra (special friend Bob Garvey) Krueger; Evans Hans; Zach & Dillon Wichman; Josh & Tyler Jensen; seven Great-grandchildren: Taylor, Callie & Harper; Dylan, Adam & "The Little Charmer" James; and Lennon.

    The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. Saturday, November 1, 2014, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger St., Neenah, Fr. Larry Seidl officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service. Military Honors will follow.

    Barbara A. "Purse" Van Veghel, 64, Appleton, passed away after a long illness Friday, Sep-tember 12, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton, with her family at her side. She was born October 5, 1943, in Appleton to the late Gottlieb and Ruth (Cotter) Wichmann. Barb worked at George Webbs and as a housekeeper at Franciscan Care Center, Appleton, for many years. She and her husband loved to spend time at Dan & AJ's with all of their friends. She loved the Packers and was a huge Nascar fan.
    Survivors include her husband, Johannes, Appleton; children: Joe (Eileen) Van Veghel, Johanna (Mike) Heller, Ruth Drehmel and special friend Ed Reid and Christina (Brian) Ness; grandchildren: Krystal and Jason Bubolz, Nick, Johnny, Eddy, Randy, Michael, Kayla, Gwen, Terk, Paige and Hunter and friend Timothy Drehmel; sisters: Jan (Dick) Helein, Nancy (Earl) Fenner, Jeanette (Chuck) El Quist, Linda (Larry) Madson, Margie Buchanan and Kathy (John) Steiner; one brother, Alan (Dawn) Wichmann.     Linda Lou Madson, 64 of Appleton, passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 29 1945 to the late Gottlieb and Ruth (Cotter) Wichmann. Linda was the perfect present when she married Larry Madson on his birthday, April 23, 1994. She spent many years working as a laborer at a printing company. Linda loved watching: The Packer's, NASCAR, Fox Valley Force and planting her lillies in her free time. She enjoyed spending time with her loving husband and dog (Robbie) the most. Linda is survived by her husband and their children: James and Alan (Debbie) Lindsey, Wayne (Donna) Morris, Kay Bueno, Penny Rettela, Paula Wagner, Jon, Tom (Michele), Sara (fiancAC. Jeremy) and Mike (Sarah) Madson. Also 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Brothers/sisters: Janice (Dick) Helein, Allen (Dawn) Wichman, Nancy (Earl) Fenner, Jeanette (Charles) Elquist, Margie Buchanan, Kathy (John) Steiner, brothers/sisters in law: John VanVeghel, Louise (Jerry) Redzinski, Linda (Mike) Gerrits, Mike Paulson, Ruth (Greg) Erickson She is preceded in death by her parents, parent's in-law, sister Barb, brothers in law Harvey, Leslie, and two grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00a.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (2220 E. College Ave. Appleton). The Family would like to especially thank the Theda Care Hospice Staff and her C.N.A Mary that cared for her. Also as her amazing neighbor's Jim, Bonnie and Sherry.     KRIS ANN DERKS, Appleton Age 34, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 26, 2002 at home. Kris w as born July 23, 1967 to Richard and Janice (Wichman) Helein in Green Ba y, Wisconsin. She married Jim Derks on June 12, 1993 at St. Thomas More Ca tholic Church, he survives her. Kris enjoyed home life, having company a nd entertaining. She also had great compassion for others and animals; s he regularly donated to the homeless shelter, the animal shelter and To ys for Tots.She is survived by her husband, Jim Derks; her parents, Richard (Janice) H elein; her mother and father in law, Robert (Marcy) Derks; a sister, Wen dy (Kevin) DeWitt; three brothers in law, Rick (Lynn) Derks; Tom (Mary) De rks and Bob (Julie) Derks; six sisters in law, Susan (Tom); Sandra (Joe) S mith; Sara (Lorman) Anderson; Vicki Derks; Connie (Brian) Heiting and Jani ce Derks. She will also be greatly missed by two uncles, Allen (Dawn) Wich man and John Helein; seven aunts Nancy (Earl) Fenner; Jeanette (Chuck) Eli quist; Linda (Larry) Madson; Barbara (John) Vanveghel; Kathy (John) Stine r; Margie (Harvey) Buchanan and Mary (Alois) Vanden Boogard; and many oth er aunts, uncles, cousin, nieces, nephews, friends and her dog, Shelby.She was preceded in death by her brother in law Jerry Derks, paternal gran dparents, Theodore (Florence) Helein and maternal grandparents, Gottlieb ( Ruth) Wichman.The Funeral Liturgy will be 11:00 AM Monday March 4, 2002 at ST. THOMAS MO RE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1810 North McDonald, Appleton with Fr. Gerald Falk off iciating. Friends may call Sunday at the FUNERAL HOME from 3:00 PM until 6 :00 PM and again on Monday at CHURCH from 10:00 AM until the time of servi ce.
