    Obituary:
    The Lord called Laverne Grassl, age 82, peacefully from this earth on Sunday morning, May 22. Laverne was born in Appleton on June 25. LaVerne is survived by her 7 Children: Diane Grassl, Bill (Mona) Grassl, Kathy (Rich) VanderZanden, Jeff (Robin) Grassl, Paul (Barb) Grassl, Mary (Dirk) Haessly, and Robin Olsen. She is further survived by 17 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and very special friend, Peg Weigand. Laverne was preceded in death by her beloved husband Norbert.
    In honoring LaVerne's wishes there will be no visitation. A private mass will be held for immediate family at St. Paul Home, Kaukauna, Wisconsin.
    LaVerne's family would like to sincerely express our deep appreciation and gratitude for all the dedicated, loving support provided to our mother by all the wonderful staff at St. Paul Elder Services in Kaukauna.
