    Obituary:
AIKEN, SC - VINCENT PAUL VERBRICK, 86, husband of the late Barbara O. (Thompson) Verbrick, died Monday, September 18, 2017 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Menasha, WI, Paul was the son of the late Norbert F. and Dorothy Peterson Verbrick of Appleton, Wisconsin.
He worked in sales as a young man, in Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin, and later became the owner and operator of Verbrick's Service Station on Washington Street in Menasha, continuing the business of his father before him. Taking a leap of faith, Paul and Barbara retired to Aiken, SC in 1986, building a new house and home there, even as they sorely missed their dear friends and family in the north. In Aiken, they were active members of St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church, and Paul was able to play golf the year round. He was preceded in death by his sister Patsy (Don) Kuehl. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Debbie Verbrick, Bluffton, SC; his daughter and son-in-law, Kristan and Carl Pramuk, Silver Spring, MD; three grandchildren, Davis and Alice Verbrick, and Maia Pramuk. Survivors in Wisconsin include his sister's children, Dan (Jeanne) Talbot, Dorothy (George) Dworshok, Nora (Doug) Kees, Roy John (Diane) Talbot, Barby Talbot, and Bill ((Kathy) Talbot, as well as a host of Barbara and Paul's beloved extended family and chosen family in and around their long-time Neenah home.
A memorial service will be held on October 14, 2017 at 2:00 pm at St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church with interment following in the churchyard. The Rev. Grant Wiseman will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church, 125 Pendleton St., SW, Aiken, SC 29801.
