    Mother of 2 killed in fall from Moving Car, Mrs. George Acker, 29, dies soon after being taken to Hospital.
    A young Kimberly mother was killed early Sunday morning after she fell from a car driven by her husband. The accident occurred less than 2 blocks from her home.
    Mrs. George Acker 29, 134 Sydney St.. Kimberly, died a few minutes after she was admitted to St. Elizabeth Hospital about 1:40 Sunday morning. Her death was the 3rd traffic fatality in Kimberly this year and the 22nd in Outagamie County since
    January 1st.
    Mrs. Acker suffered a skull fracture and sub-dural hemorrhage, She did not regain consciousness. A partial autopsy was performed Sunday morning to determine the cause of death, Coroner Bernard H. Kemps said.
    The couple was returning from Appleton where they had attended the wedding and reception for Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Acker, brother of the driver. George Acker had served as his brothers best man.
    Acker told Under Sheriff Lyman B. Clark and Kimberly Police Phil Midday that his wife had a headache during the evening and had taken a couple aspirin tablets. She felt ill Acker said and was about to turn down the window. Apparently she took hold of the door handle instead. The door opened and she fell to the pavement.
    Was unconscious.
    Van Grinsvan was sent to investigate. He found the couple trying to get the woman into the car and immediately called the Lindy's Ambulance. The woman died about 5 minutes after arrival at the hospital. Van Grinsvan said she never regained consciousness.
    Under Sheriff Clark and Kemps took statements from the driver at the hospital.
    Mrs. Acker was born in Milwaukee on June 20, 1923 and lived most of her life in Kimberly. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Verbeten. A graduate of Kimberly High School, she attended Mount Calvary College in Milwaukee. She was a member of Holy Name Church Kimberly and the Women Catholic Order of Foresters.
    She is survived by her husband and 2 small children, Mary Ann 5 and William 2.
    Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock.
