Obituary:
Regina Christina (Eder) Rolfs, age 87, of Larsen, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at Century Oaks Residential Care in the Town of Menasha. She was born January 27, 1920, in Oshkosh, to the late Karl and Mathilda (Heckenstadler) Eder. Regina married Clarence Rolfs on May 10, 1941, at the Sacred Heart Rectory in Oshkosh, and he preceded her in death on June 7, 2002.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Winchester, and was a member of its Rebekah Circle. Regina was also a past member of the Larsen-Winchester Lioness Club where she had served as treasurer.
Regina is survived by her children: David Rolfs, Appleton; Barbara (David) Rozek, Winneconne; a son-in-law, Bruce Blodgett, Necedah; her grandchildren: Scott Rolfs, Denver, Colorado; Chris Rolfs, Boulder, Colorado; Robyn Rozek, Virginia Beach, Virginia; Tina (Ron) Petrick, Mauston; Tammi (Scott) Hendricks, Minocqua; and great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, Regina was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Jane Blodgett; one brother, Arthur Eder; and four sisters: Meta (Henry) Koch, Angela (Leo) Nault, Emma (Franklin) Stromme, and Dorothy Rugg.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 5, 2007, at 10:30 a.m., at Grace Lutheran Church of Winchester, Larsen, Wisconsin, with Pastor Clarence Harms officiating. Burial will be in the Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Winchester. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
Regina's family would like to thank the staffs of Century Oaks and Heartland Hospice for all of the care given to her.
