    Mary Jane JansenMary Jane Jansen, nee Kurtzweil, 71, of West Bend, died on Wednesday, Mar ch 24, 2004 at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Wauwatosa.She was born on Aug. 3, 1932 in Halder to the late Elroy an Amanda (nee Ho rnung) Kurtzweil, and married Richard Jansen on Aug. 26, 1952 in Marathon.In 1955 the family moved to Random Lake where she was employed as a part-t ime postal clerk until coming to West Bend in 1965.Mary Jane was employed as a computer programmer at The West Bend Co. unt il retiring in 2000.She loved golfing, gardening, playing bridge and caring for her grandchild ren and others.Survivors include her husband; two children, Karla, M.D. (James, M.D.) Joh ns of Nashville, Tenn. and John, Ph.D. (Valarie) of West Bend; three grand children, William Johns, Samuel and Anne Jansen; five sisters, Lillian (Fr ed) Lang, LaVerne (Lyle) Krautkramer, both of Marathon, Donna Mae (John) A ustin of Wisconsin Rapids, Angeline Martens of Wausau and Elaine (Richar d) Kienbaum of Waupaca; a brother, Lyle (Elaine) of Marathon; three brothe rs-in-law, Norbert (Clara) Jansen, Benjamin (Genevieve) Jansen, both of Mo sinee, and Charles (Shirley) Jansen of Marathon; two sisters-in-law, Hel en Tambornino of Wausau and Erna Jansen of Marathon; other relatives and f riends.Preceding her in death were two brothers-in-law, Walter Jansen and Haro ld Jansen, and a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Imhoff.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 27 at 10:30 a.m. at the S chmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a. m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church, West Bend.Father Gerald Brittain will be the presider, and burial will follow in Ho ly Angels Cemetery.Visitation at the funeral home will be on Friday from 4 until the 8 p.m. p rayer vigil, and also on Saturday from 9:30 until 10:15 a.m.In lieu of flowers, memorials to Holy Angels School Trust Fund or to the F ull Shelf Food Pantry would be appreciated.
