    Allen E. Behnke, age 85 years, of E5136 Jossie Road, Ogdensburg, WI, pass ed away Thursday, August 3, 2006, at his home. Allen Everett Behnke was bo rn March 14, 1921, in the Town of Dupont, Waupaca County, to the late Edwa rd and Ida (Krause) Behnke. He was united in marriage to Jeanette Tischaus er on April 19, 1941, at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Big Falls. The coup le dairy farmed in the Town of Union, Waupaca County, until the mid 1980 s. Along with farming, he also worked as an electrician at FWD Corp. in Cl intonville for 35 years, retiring in 1986. Allen was a member of St. Lu ke Lutheran Church, Big Falls, where he served for over 50 years as a chur ch elder. He enjoyed hunting, trout fishing, and making wooden craft item s.Survivors include two daughters: Barbara (David) Hungerford, Appleton; Ros emary (Special friend, Jerry Schulist) Olson, Iola; two sons: Donald (Kath y) Behnke, Appleton; Daniel (Maureen) Behnke, New London. There are nine g randchildren: Tim, Steve, Laurie, James, Denise, Vance, John, Caitlin, a nd Kylie. Further survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, two great-great -grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.Allen was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette, on Sept. 17, 2005, a si ster, Evelyn Strohschoen, a brother, Harold, two infant sisters, and an in fant brother. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 8th at 11 a.m. at St. Mark L utheran Church, Symco. Rev. Jeffrey Smiles will officiate. Burial wi ll be in the Big Falls Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 4 - 8 p. m. at the Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Marion, and on Tuesday from 10:00 a. m. until the time of service at the church. Condolences may be sent via
