Obituary:
Walter A. Malueg, 86, 55 Hughes St., Clintonville, died Friday, Dec. 13, 1991, at Clintonville Community Hospital.
He was born Oct. 24, 1905, in Caroline, the son of the late August and Bertha (Schachtschneider) Malueg. He married Hilda Rosenow on June 25, 1930, and the couple lived in the Pella area. She preceded him in death on Oct. 2, 1932. Mr. Malueg later married Fern Robins on Feb. 2, 1939, in Waupaca. The couple lived in the Marion and Clintonville area all their married life. Mrs. Malueg died Oct 12, 1980. Mr. Malueg was employed with the Phoenix Door Co., Shawano, for many years until his retirements. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Embarrass, where he belonged to the Men's Club.
Survivors include four daughters: Dorothy (Robert) Siefert, Bonduel; Caroline (Norman) Much, Ogdensburg; Elaine Schlender, Clintonville; and Sharon (George) Stern, Bonduel; a son, Lee (Doris) Lembke, Mahnomen, Minn.; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jule (Rose), Ohio. He was preceded in death byone son, six brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 16, at Zion Lutheran Church, Embarrass, with the Rev. Thomas Clocker officiating. Spring burial will be in Roseland Cemetery, Marion. Pallbearers were Craig Stern, Todd Much, Kenneth Dean, Roger Siefert, Tom Betzner and Brian Dudzik. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home, Clintonville, assisted with arrangements."
