b>Janke, SharonSharon Janke, age 66, of Hilbert, died on Wednesday, February 28, 2007, at the Calumet Homestead in New Holstein. She was born September 4, 1940, in Hilbert, daughter of the late Henry Jr. & Clara (Vollmer) Jansen. Sharon married Dale Zachawski on March 15, 1997. Sharon was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Hilbert. She was also a very caring & generous person who was always helping those who were in need. She attended St. Mary Catholic School in Hilbert and graduated from Hilbert High School. She later worked for the Chilton Care Center for 17 years. Survivors include her husband Dale; special cousin: Darleen Abney of Milwaukee, an aunt; Ruth Bender of Milwaukee; and two special friends: Marge Hartmann and Charlotte Pethan. She is further survived by several cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2007, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hilbert. Springtime burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2007, when services will be held. A memorial fund has been established in the name of Sharon Janke. The family would also like to thank the staff of the Calumet Homestead for all of the loving care they provided for Sharon.
