William Augustus Michael was first the husband of Hesterann Adelaide Wade. Together they had five children: Henry, Richard, Albert, Jessie & Emma.
He married second, Anna A. Ligner and together they had one child: Raymond A. Michael.
He was preceded in death by both of his wives and two of his children, Albert and Raymond. They plus William are buried in the Riverside Cemetery in Wrightstown, Brown County, Wisconsin, USA.
William Augustus Michael was a private in the Union Army during the Civil War. He was a member of Co. I, 14th Illinois US Cavalry.

Obituary:
Another old soldier is laid to rest. William A. Michels, aged 55 years, was buried at the Wrightstown cemetery, in charge of Paul H. Beaulieu Post, of which he was a member since 1893. He served in the 14th Illinois Cavalry during the rebellion. He spent about three months in Andersonville prison, from the effects of which he never fully recovered.

Biography:
Jessie Belle [MICHAEL] Kinley was the daughter of William Augustus Michael and Hester Ann Adalaide Wade of Wrightstown, Brown Co., Wisconsin. Jessie's mother died when she was only four years old, after which she was raised until adulthood by Mr. & Mrs. Norman Brokaw of Kaukauna, Wisconsin. Jessie married Arthur Roy Kinley, Sr. on January 14, 1903 in Appleton, Outagamie Co., Wisconsin. Jessie and Roy Kinley had nine children: Marion Lucille [Kinley] Petri, John Norman Kinley, Arthur Roy Kinley, Jr., Beulah Margaret [Kinley] Rossman, Robert Edward Kinley, Warren Robert Kinley, Gladys Loreen [Kinley] Turner, Ida Mae [Kinley] Pogue, and Morris Richard Kinley. Jessie was preceeded in death by her father, William A. Michael, Mr & Mrs Norman Brokaw, her daughter Ida Mae [Kinley] Pogue, and sons Robert Edward and Morris Richard Kinley.
