Obituary:
Susan J. Maes, 60, Suamico, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Feb. 2, 1949, to Evelyn (Kamps) Lemerond and the late Bernard Lemerond. On Oct. 4, 1969, she married Gale Maes in Green Bay. Susan loved to be spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Gale; her children, Heather (Todd) Kroll, Shawano; Wesley Maes, Green Bay; Bradley Maes, Green Bay; and Shanie Laabs (Ken Kraft), Suamico; five grandchildren, Zachary, Paige, Hayleigh and Camden Kroll and Olivia Laabs; her mother and stepfather, Evelyn and Arthur Heller, Wausaukee; one sister, Sandra Lemerond, Florence, Wis.; one brother, Thomas Lemerond (Ann Dewick), Green Bay; her father-in-law, Eugene "Bud" Maes, Green Bay; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Marjorie Maes.
