    Obituary:
Thomas M. Fannin, age 55, of Hortonville, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2007, at Wisconsin Veteran Home in King. Tom was born on August 7, 1951, in Marinette, son of Milton and Cleo (Castonia) Fannin. He and his family soon moved to Hortonville, where he spent the majority of his life. Tom graduated from Hortonville High School in 1969 and spent the next four years serving his country as a Seaman 1st Class in the United States Navy. He drove truck for Dorn's Transfer until he could no longer work. In 1996, an ongoing illness sent Tom to the Wisconsin Veteran's Home, King; he remained there until his death. Tom loved his family, baseball, football, fishing, driving his pickup and country music. He was truly a "good ol' boy."
Tom is survived by his parents, Milt and Cleo Fannin, Hortonville; brothers: Jerry (Laurie), Hortonville; Peter (Cindy), Greenville; Robin (Kate), Hortonville; John, Hortonville; Marty, Appleton; and Pat (Amy), Oshkosh. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and his good friend Orly Olk.
Funeral Mass for Tom will be held on Monday, April 23, 2007, at 10:30 a.m., at Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville, with Fr. James Feely and Fr. Paul Vanden Hogan officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may also call at the Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville on Sunday, April 22, 2007, from 4-8 p.m. A 7:30 p.m. prayer service will be held. Friends may also call at the church on Monday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Wisconsin Veterans Home especially the staff of Olson Hall, 4th floor for the care and kindness they have shown our brother and son all these years. Happy Trails, Tom.
