    OTTO ZORN - Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at the Meiselwitz Funeral home, Kiel, for Otto Zorn, 80, of St. Nazianz, who passed away early Saturday afternoon at the Holy Family hospital, Manitowoc, following a short illness.
    The Rev. Theophil F. Uetzmann, pastor of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran church, of Manitowoc, officiated, and burial was made in Rockville Cemetery.
    The deceased was born April 19, 1871, in the town of Schleswig, the son of Frank and Elizabeth Zorn. On July 4, 1895, he was married to Miss Anna Profatz of the town of Meeme. They marked their golden anniversary in 1945.
    Following their marriage they lived in Kiel for two years. Then moved to Chicago where they resided for 20 years. He later operated a farm in the town of Meeme, and for the past 15 years has lived at St. Nazianz. Since 1942 he has been health officer for the town of Eden.
    Survivors include his wife; two brothers, Louis of Lena, Wis., and Frank of Portland, Ore,; and two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Hein of Sobieski, Wis., and Mrs. Emilie Morgans of Detroit Mich.
    Zorn, Otto J. (April 19, 1871-Oct. 13, 1951 – husband of Anna Profatz [married July 4, 1895 at Kiel, Town of Schleswig – no children from this marriage] – son of Frank Zorn and Elizabeth Loos – born Town of Schleswig – farmer – since 1941 the health officer for the Town of Eaton – from about 1898 to 1918 lived in Chicago, Illinois – moving back to a farm in Town of Meeme about 1918 – in 1936 retired from the farm and moved to St. Nazianz – on Sept. 5, 1936 purchased the house at 119 S. Third Avenue – Otto lived in this house until his death in 1951 – Anna lived in this house until her death in 1956 – died from "myocardial infarction, 10 days – coronary occlusion, 10 days – coronary sclerosis – arteriosclerosis") – buried at Rockville Cemetery, Town of Schleswig

    Otto married Profatz, Anna 4 Jul 1895. Anna was born Abt Jul 1873; died Abt 1956, St. Nazianz, Manitowoc, Wisconsin. [Group Sheet]
