    Mr. Miles Leppla of Cedarburg passed away April 25, 2012. He was 91 years old.
    Miles was born in Medina, WI on June 16, 1920, son of Rolla and Frieda (Panzer) Leppla. Miles and his parents moved to Town of Port Washington when he was very young. He worked at Gilson in Port Washington and then on a farm in Germantown as a hired hand. He retired from Cedarburg Supply Company after 30 years where he delivered coal and then worked in the mill area grinding feed and selling dog food, salt and flour.
    He also worked several years at the Ozaukee County Fair. Miles loved to do woodworking. He could build or fix anything. He was confirmed at Friedens Church in Port Washington and went to school in Knellsville. Miles also loved gardening.
    On June 13, 1959, Miles was united in marriage to June Hill at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cedarburg.
    Mr. Leppla is survived by his wife, June and their three children: Jane (Earl) Figge of Waupun, Neil (Betty) of Richfield and Ray (Sherri) of Port Washington, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He is further survived by three sister-in-laws Harriet Leppla of West Bend, Delores Leppla of Cedarburg and Gladys Grulke of Oconomowoc. Miles was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Clarence and Lawrence, and an infant son Roy.
    Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, N60 W6047 Columbia Road, Cedarburg on Thursday May 3, 2012 at 6 PM with Pastor Brent Halverson officiating. Burial will be at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg on Friday morning. Visitation will be at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cedarburg on Thursday from 4-6 PM followed by fellowship after the funeral service.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church appreciated. Eernisse Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Cedarburg is assisting the family with arrangements.

    Obituary:
    Lawrence K. Leppla, 81, of West Bend died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007.
    He was born Aug. 22, 1926 in Port Washington to the late Rolla and Frieda (nee Panzer) Leppla and married Henrietta "Harriet" Wagner on June 19, 1954 at Holy Angels Catholic Church.
    Larry served in the U.S. Army during th Korean Conflict. Following his discharge, he returned to the Port Washington area.
    After their marriage, Law-rence and Harriet settled in West Bend where he began working for the U.S. Post Office as a rural mail carrier, retiring in 1986 after 30 years of service.
    During his time at the post office he also worked parttime at West Bend Mutual Insurance Co. and then Claims Management Services in the maintenance department.
    Following his retirement from the post office, he worked full time until retiring in December, 2006.
    Lawrence was a Fourth Degree member of the Father Casper Rehrl Council 1964 Knights of Columbus, a member of Lodge 1398 Loyal Order of the Moose and a charter member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
    Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Harriet; five children, Larry (Katherine) of Waukesha, Margaret (Jeff) Scheibel of Howards Grove, Patrick (Susan) of North Royalton, Ohio, Michael of Tampa Bay, Fla. and Theresa of Fond du Lac; and seven grandchildren, Andrew and Alex Leppla, Mark and Eric Scheibel, Samantha Leppla and Sean and Grace Leppla.
    Larry is further survived by his brother, Miles (June) of Cedarburg; his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Delores Leppla of Port Washington, Evelyn Kalies of West Bend, Nellie Wagner of West Bend, Joan (Erv) Claas of Sussex, Mary Snyder of West Bend, Raymond (Nancy) Wagner of Odessa, Texas, Bonnie Voeks of Boltonville, Carol Lindemann of West Bend and Sue Ann (Peter) Geib of West Bend; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
    Preceding him in death was his brother, Clarence Leppla.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, Oct. 25, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, West Bend, with Rev. Jeffrey Haines presiding.
    Burial will follow in Washing-ton County Memorial Park,West Bend.
    Visitation will be at the Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until a prayer vigil at 7 p.m., and also at the church only on Thursday from 9:30 until 10:15 a.m.
    Memorials to St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church or The Kathy Hospice are appreciated.
