Tillman, Hilda E. nee: Werth
Hilda, age 91, of Appleton, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Monday, July 9, 2007, at Brewster Village. Hilda was born December 24, 1915, in Neenah to the late Herman and Ottilie (Juhnke) Werth. She was united in marriage to Justin "Dick" Tillman on August 6, 1941. They shared 54 wonderful years together before his death November 18, 1995. She was employed by H.C. Prange Company for 20 years. She was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church. Hilda and Dick enjoyed traveling and spending time at their cottage in Hiles, WI, and winters in Ft. Lauderdale and Melbourne Beach, FL.
Survivors include her daughter, Suzanne L. Kuhn of Appleton; a grandson, David C. Kuhn of Appleton; a granddaughter, Sara (Kevin) Finch of Olathe, KS; a great-granddaughter, Katrina Finch; two special nephews: David (Patti) Dewitt of Ft. Myers, FL; Mark Werth of Appleton; two sisters-in-law: Laverne (Clyde) Coenen of Appleton and Delores Ocepek of Milwaukee; and special friends and neighbors: Ken and Darlene Mahloch and Mrs. Marv (Kitty) Wyman.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Hugo and Arnold Werth; two sisters: Esther Werth and Leona "Lonnie" Hansen; two sisters-in-law: Bernice Werth and Ardys Werth.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2007, at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John Baumann officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral chapel on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church or to the charity of your choice.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Brewster Village (Symphony) and to mothers special care givers: Debbie, Barbara, Monica, Sharon, Maria, Pam and Blanche.
Hilda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
