Obituary:
Eldora H. Boelter, 81, King, formerly of New London, passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. Eldora was born on March 29, 1927, in Hortonville, daughter of the late Lotus and Dora (Diestler) Haynes. She was married to Walter Boelter and together they had three children. He preceded her in death in 1985. Eldora was an Avon lady for many years. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New London, where she was a Sunday school teacher, a member and president of the Ladies Aide, and the choir. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary.
Eldora is survived by her children, Kim (Gary) Davis, New London; Audrey (Tim) Erickson), New London; and Todd Boelter, Winneconne. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Ron, Loni, Rebecca, Kimberly and Michelle; and two great-grandchildren, Lexi and Nikki.
In addition to her husband, Eldora was preceded in death by a sister, Darla Siewert.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, in the chapel at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. Visitation will be at the chapel from 1 p.m. until the time of services.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Wisconsin Veterans Home for all the care given to Eldora.
