    Obituary:
    Nancy Ann Bougie, 74, of De Pere, died Thursday evening, February 21, 2008 at a local hospital. The daughter of the late Louis and Colette (Verhasselt) Bougie was born September 10, 1933 in the Town of Oneida. Nancy was well educated, graduating from Nicolet High School in 1952, and then continued to better herself until she received her Masters of Library Science in 1972. Nancy taught at Old Glory School, High View School and was a librarian at the Ashwaubenon Public Schools until her retirement in 1994. She was an avid member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and a board member of the Brown County Civic Museum Association.
    She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Marvin (Joyce) Bougie, Louis J. Bougie, Joy Bougie, De Pere; John (Patricia) Bougie, Freedom; Donna (Ed) Geurts, Mequon; Karen (Ray) Brown, De Pere; and special cousin Charles (Elaine) Welter, De Pere; Her godchildren, Suzanne Carman, Laura Lamb, and Gail Kane. She was a very special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Nancy was also survived by her English Pen Pal of fifty years, Joan Abel, as well as many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Colette.
    Friends may call on Sunday, February 24, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, corner of Suburban Dr. and Lourdes Ave, De Pere. Visitation will continue Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family from 9 a.m. until time of Mass. Mass Of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Tim Shillcox O. Praem, officiating. Private burial will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery, Snyderville. RYAN FUNERAL HOME, De Pere, is assisting the Bougie family. Please visit www.ryanfh.com to send online condolences to the Bougie family. Nancy will be remembered for her courage, her faith, her steadfastness, and her love of life. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, a fund will be established for Our Lady of Lourdes Rev. Blaise Peters Scholarship Fund, the Our Lady of Lourdes Technology Fund, the Our Lady of Lourdes Gym Fund, and the Diabetes Foundation
