    Geldernick, Minnie (1872 - 9 AUG 1944) Chili, Clark County, Wis. - Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Geldernick of Chili, 72, who died at her home Aug. 9, were held at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Chili, Aug. at 12 at 10 a.m., the Rev. Arthur J. Cramer officiating at the Requiem High Mass. Burial took place in the Chili Cemetery.
    Six of Mrs. Geldernick's grandsons served as pallbearers, Richard and Howard Geldernick, Martin Adler, Richard and William Martins, and Peter Schmaltz. Flower girls, six granddaughters, were Pauline Geldernick, Jeanne Martin, Mrs. William Geldernick, Mrs. Lee Garbisch, Mrs. Lloyd Everts, and Jeanette Croell.

    Mrs. Frank Geldernick, 72, who had been in poor health since last March due to a complication of ailments, died at 3:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at her home on route 1, Chili.
    The body will lie in state at the Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, until early this evening, when it will be taken to t he Geldernick home to lie in state there until the time of the funeral services.

    The Rev. Arthur J. Cramer will officiate at the Requiem High Mass Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Stephen's Catholic church in Chili, and burial will be made in the parish cemetery.
    Mrs. Geldernick, the former Minnie Lamers, was born at Little Chute April 27, 1872, and was married there Oct. 24, 1895, to William Croell, who preceded her in death Oct. 10. 1918. On July 27, 1919, she married Frank Geldernick. For the past 46 years, Mrs. Geldernick has resided at Chili.
    A member of the Catholic Ladies Aid Society, Mrs. Geldernick is survived by her husband and nine children, all by her first marriage, Mrs. Gertrude Geldernick, Chili; Mrs. Herbert (Margaret) Adler, Spencer; Mrs. William (Sophia) Martens, Loyal; Mrs. Alex (Nellie) Schmaltz, Menasha; Mrs. J.B. (Ann) Jaeger, Campbellsport; Mrs. Peter (Martha) Reh, Huntley, Ill.; Mrs. Fred (Julia) Krosinski, Milwaukee; Ted Croell, Rockford, Ill.; and Richard Croell, Lawler, Iowa. Another daughter, Helen, and a son, John, died.
    Also surviving are two brothers, George Lamers, Little Chute, and Ed Lamers, Kimberly; two sisters, Mrs. Peter (Ann) Van Dinter, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Mike (Ellen) Benshovel, Appleton; 62 grandchildren, and 10 great-grand-children. Thirteen brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

    Obituary:
    Willard H. "Tuffy" Geldernick, 79, Chili, died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, at Saint Joseph's Hospital Palliative Care, Marshfield.
    A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Marshfield with the Rev. Donald Meuret officiating. Burial will take place in St. Stephen's Cemetery in Chili and grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
    The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Rembs Funeral Home and Friday at Our Lady of Peace Church from 10:30 a.m. until service time.
    Mr. Geldernick was born Nov. 6, 1929, in Chili, the son of James and Gertrude (Croell) Geldernick. He and Darleen D. Curtin were married May 21, 1949, in Hewitt. She died Oct. 15, 2005.
    Tuffy took over the family farm in the town of Fremont where he worked hard and raised seven children. Not only was he a farmer, he also was co-owner/operator of a milk hauling business and later Central Septic Service.
    For many years, he was a member of the Chili Lions Club. He was an avid bowler, ballplayer, card player and gardener. Tuffy enjoyed sharing the fruits and vegetables of his labor with family and friends. He loved watching his children and grandchildren competing in football, baseball, softball and wrestling. As a fan, he also enjoyed sports, watching the Packers, Brewers and Badgers regularly.
    He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be forever be in our hearts.
    He is survived by four sons and three daughters, Richard (Karolyn) Geldernick of Chili, Gerald (Shirley) Geldernick of Marshfield, Daniel (Susan) Geldernick of Chili, Timothy (Kathy) Geldernick of Chili, Jeannie (Michael) Bell of Marshfield, Terry (Leroy) Bowe of Greenwood and Shirley (Jim) Schmitt of Chili. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by two brothers and a sister, Robert (Sharon) Geldernick of Marshfield, James Geldernick of East Dundee, Ill., and Pauline (Herb) Weber of Downers Grove, Ill.
    He was predeceased by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Karen Kay Geldernick; twin granddaughters, Renee and Lisa Geldernick; five brothers and two sisters.
    In lieu of flowers the family will designate a memorial in Willard's name at a later date

    Willard H. "Tuffy" Geldernick. 79. Chili, died on Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, at St. Joseph's Palliative Care, Marshfield. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, Oct. 23, at 11:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Marshfield. The Rev. Donald Meuret officiated. Burial was in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Chili. Grandchildren served as pallbearers.
    Willard H. Geldernick was born on Nov. 6, 1929, in Chili, to James and Gertrude (nee Croell) Geldnick. He married Darleen D. Curtin on May 21, 1939, in Hewett. She died on Oct. 15, 2005.     Bonita A. Bodway, age 91, of Menasha, passed on to our Heavenly Father on August 13, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family.
    Bonita was born on June 16, 1923, daughter to the late Alex and Helen (Croell) Schmalz. Bonita married Malcolm W. Bodway on September 4, 1942. She was an incredible wife and mother.
    She retired from North Shore Country Club after 50 years of preparing salads and was known for Bonnie's Doughnuts. She also catered many member parties, and assisted with the potato salad business that was started by a friend.
    Bonita was always the caregiver for her family, friends, and animals. She enjoyed playing dominos, her card groups, and her cookbooks. No one ever left her house without eating something. Everything was always very good!
    Bonita is survived by her children: Douglas (Sharon) Bodway, James Bodway, Suzanne (Timothy) DeShaney; 4 grandchildren: Timothy (Ann) DeShaney, Nick DeShaney, Kristin (Mitch) Schmidt, Bryce (Jessie) Bodway; 4 great-grandchildren: Emma and Nora DeShaney and Brya and Colter Schmidt; a brother, Peter Schmalz; a sister, Helen Krasniewski, and a sister-in-law, Marie Schmalz; and other relatives and friends.
    In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her 3 year-old son, Richard; and 3 brothers: Kenneth, Gerald, and Robert.
    A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second Street in Menasha. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 9:30 am until the hour of the Mass at the church. Inurnment will take place in St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.

    Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in St. Stephan's Catholic Cemetery for Karen, seven-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Geldernick of Rt. 1, Chili, who died Sunday in Neillsville. The Rev. Carroll Walljasper officiated.
    Karen was born April 24, 1964, in Neillsville. She is survived by her parents; four brothers, Richard, Gerald, Daniel and Tim; and three sisters, Jeannie, Terry and Shirley, all at home.
