    Obituary:
Sonnleitner, Harold J. Age 89, died at his home on September 25, 2002, with family at his side. Born July 1, 1913, he was the son of John and Mary (Maier) Sonnleitner. On October 6, 1938 he married Mary Skovron at Sacred Heart Church, Oshkosh. Harold was employed by Morgan Company for 43 years in the stair division and later was in charge of samples and displays - and also active in research and development. He was a lifetime member of Carpenters and Joiners of America and also of Local 1363 where he held offices for many years. He was a dedicated volunteer and life 3rd and 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus where he served as Grand Knight and an officer for many years. He was a past member of Toastmasters International. After his retirement in 1978, he liked to travel in the states and over-seas, was fond of fishing, gardening and dearly loved the game of golf. At home he enjoyed making wooden crafts for bazaars and friends, and doll houses for loved ones. Harold was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and is survived by his wife Mary; sons: Gerald (Susan), Green Lake; Gene (Nancy), Oshkosh; brother, Dr. Eugene (Pat) Sonnleitner; a grandson, four granddaughters, six great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren; sisters: Theresa, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Cece Sonnleitner, Visalia, California; and nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; sisters, Mary and Elizabeth; brothers: John, Carl, Otto, Alois and George. Special thank you to Father Bob, Sister Diane, deacons Ray and Fred, Aurora Hospice Program, and all who in so many ways aided in making Harold's last journey. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 28, 2002 at 11:00 a. m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Kollath officiating. Visitation will be at church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until hour of services. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Harold's name to Aurora Hospice.
