Green Bay - The body of Mrs. Earl Berendsen, 29, Green Bay, formerly of Kaukauna, missing since last Thursday was found early yesterday in Duck Creek near here. Brown County Coroner Orlen Miller investigated and stated there would be no inquest In a note addressed to a sister, Mrs. Berendsen said she intended to take her own life. Mrs. Berendsen was born Dec. 28. 1908. at Kaukauna. She attended Holy Cross school and Kaukauna high school for two years. She lived at Green Bay for the last two years. Survivors are the widower; her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Peter West, Kaukauna: one brother, Cyril, Kaukauna; and six sisters, Mrs. Thurston Lambie, Mrs. John Kersher, Mrs. Edmund Grode, Mrs. Henry Van Handel and the Misses Leila and Margaret West, Kaukauna. Funeral services were held at Holy Cross cemetery, Kaukauna, at 11 o'clock this morning with the Rev. A. Garthaus in charge. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Cross church next Monday or Tuesday morning.

She was a former member of Holy Cro ss Catholic Church and the Ladies of Holy Cross. Mildred volunteered ma ny years for Kaukauna Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, crochetin g, politics, and was an avid writer of letters to family and friends. McCormick, John R.John R. McCormick, age 91, of Shawano, died Thursday, April 7, 2005 at Map le Lane Health Care Center. John was born on March 16, 1914 in Freedom, s on of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Leisch) McCormick. After graduatio n, John worked for the Itogon Mining Company, a gold mine in the Philippin es. On July 16, 1938 he was united in marriage to his childhood sweethea rt Catherine Murphy in Freedom. John worked for the Freedom and New Lond on High Schools where he was a teacher, basketball coach and boxing coac h. John later served in the United States Army during World War II as a Fi rst Lieutenant. John and Kate later owned and operated Murphy’s Sand and G ravel in Bonduel until his retirement. After retiring John earned his degr ee as a Guidance Counselor and became an University of Wisconsin Extensi on Resource Agent for Shawano County. During that time he received the Out standing Extension Agent in Wisconsin Award and twelve years later retir ed with the rank of Assistant Professor.John was instrumental in bring the Aarrowcast Company to Shawano and serv ed as its first Personal Manager and on the board. He was a member of t he Shawano County Board, was a chairman of the City of Shawano Senior Citi zens Commission, a member and chair on the Unified Health Services Boar d, and commissioner of the East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commis sion. Mr. McCormick was instrumental in the City of Shawano Industrial Dev elopment Cooperation, which created the Shawano Industrial Park, the Shawa no County Housing Authority that initiated the process for the constructi on for elderly housing projects, Shawano County Zoning, the Shawano Coun ty Solid Waste Management Program, and the Shawano Council of Governmen ts with was instrumental in initiating the Shawano Lake Sanity District. J ohn McCormick was named Shawano Area Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Cit izen in 1983 for providing initiative, leadership and development abiliti es to make the community a better place to live.John is survived by his wife almost 67 years, Catherine; his twin daughter s: Betsy (Steven Lelyveld, M.D.) McCormick and Susan (Richard Hadley, M.D .) Eileen graduated from St. Nicholas Catholic Grade School, Freedom High School and Outagamie County Normal School. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony.

Donald G. Randerson, of Weyauwega, age 86, passed away at Weyauwega Health Care Center on Thursday, February 22, 2007. He was born in Appleton on September 13, 1920, the son of the late William and Helen (McDaniel) Randerson. He was employed at Konz Box Factory for many years in Appleton. Donald was a faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Appleton. Donald's hobbies included: collecting post cards from communities across the country, polka records, and was very fond of his cats. Donald is survived by his sister, Mary K. Rohde of Weyauwega; nieces and nephews: Mary (William F.) Ellen Wurzbach of Oshkosh, Tom (Sue) Rohde of Neenah, Bob (Joan) Rohde of Almond, Mike (Sue) Rohde of Weyauwega, Pat (Lois) Rohde of Houston, TX, and Anne (Merle) Alix of Wallace, MI; and further survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews. He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Leonard M. Rohde. The funeral liturgy will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 312 S. State St., Appleton, with Fr. Mary Kathleen Rohde, age 94, was welcomed into glory and rejoiced when she met her Lord and Savior and was reunited with her beloved Leonard on Monday, September 11, 2017 at St. Joseph Residence in New London. Mary was born on October 4, 1922 in Appleton to the late William and Helen (McDaniel) Randerson. She was united in marriage to Leonard M. Rohde on July 27, 1946. He preceded her in death. Mary became a school teacher after graduating from Oshkosh State Teacher's College and retired from teaching to become a "super mom" for 6 children. Mary and Leonard moved to Weyauwega in 1949 and Mary lived there until 2013, when she moved to Trinity Terrace in New London. Mary was a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega. Mary had a special love for many things. These included her family, her church, books, dancing with Leonard and Prolife activities.

Nona L. Van Straten, age 97, Shiocton, finished her journey on Saturday, May 14, 2016. She was born on April 16, 1919, in Appleton daughter of the late Arthur and Marie (Randerson) Wachlin. On February 19, 1936, she was united in marriage to Clark Van Straten at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Black Creek. Together they raised 8 children. He preceded her in death on July 8, 1950. Nona was a life long member of St. Denis Catholic Church, Shiocton; where she participated in St. Ann Christian Mother's Society. She traveled extensively with her children throughout the years.
Nona is survived by her children: Jacqulyne (Gary) Waterstradt, Suamico; Tom (Janice) Van Straten, Shiocton; Richard (Kathy) Van Straten, Neenah; Gary Van Straten, Shiocton; John (Lucy) Van Straten, Appleton; Joe (special friend, Barbara) Van Straten, Shiocton; and Jane (David) Reinke, Appleton; 33 grand-children, many great grandchildren and many great, great-grandchildren.

Did you get a call from Fay Wagner? She's married to Les Wagner and his m other was Hazel Randerson. Fay was born in 1938 so Les was born in the m id 1930s. (Probably-I don't know his birth date.) Fay and I are cousin s. My Grandmother Anna Runge nee Mohr and Fay's Grandfather August Mohr w ere brother and sister. We've been working together for years on our fam ilies. Leslie W. Wagner, 76, Kokomo, Ind., died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Waterford Place Health Campus. He was born Aug. 14, 1935, in Outagamie County, Wis., the son of Raymond and Hazel (Randerson) Wagner. On June 15, 1963, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour, Wis., he married Fay Lois Kell, who survives.
Les was a 1953 graduate of Seymour High School, Seymour, Wis. He received his Bachelor's Degree from University of Wisconsin in 1958 and received his Master's in Electrical Engineering in 1971. Les served three months in the U.S. Air Force in Critical Skills. He began his career with GM in the Milwaukee area and moved to Kokomo, Ind., in December 1971. He retired from Delco Electronics in December 1996 as Senior Project Engineer after 38 1/2 years of service.
Les is survived by his wife, Fay, Kokomo; two daughters, Lori (Michael) Kosek, Ann Arbor, Mich.; Katherine (John) Yochum, Ft. Collins, Colo.; grandchildren, David, Krista, Cheryl, Daniel, Kevin, Jennifer, and Julia Kosek, Andrew, Alex, and Eric Yochum; sister, Pearl Koehler, Appleton, Wis.; two sisters-in-law, Barb Wagner, the Seymour, Wis. area; Carol Wagner, Appleton, Wis.; brother-in-law, Larry (Judy) Kell, south shore, Pewaukee Lake, Wis.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Merle E. Wagner, age 70, of Seymour, passed away on Tuesday morning, May 24, 2011 at Cherry Meadows after a short battle with cancer.
He was born August 6, 1940 son of the late Ray and Hazel (Randerson) Wagner. On September 17, 1964 he was united in marriage to Barb Fox at St. Nicholas in Freedom.
Merle was a delivery driver and self-employed in sales. He enjoyed his children and grandchildren, playing cards, motorcycling, travel and golf, as much as anyone can enjoy golf.
He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Seymour.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Barb; three children: Doug Wagner, Appleton and his 2 children: Zach and Annika; Paula (Ross) Van Dyn Hoven, Freedom and their 3 children: Julie, Hank and Chad; Aaron (Caroline) Wagner, Oshkosh; a brother Leslie Wagner, KoKoMo Indiana; a sister Pearl Koehler, Appleton; friends, relatives and neighbors.

Visitation will take place at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, N3972 Columbia Ave., Freedom, from 3:00 p.m. until a parish prayer service at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Obituary:
Gene W. Randerson, 87, of Freedom, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 16, 2017. He was born on September 2, 1930, in Little Chute, WI to C. Lee Randerson and Margaret (Ludwig) Randerson. He leaves behind the love of his life, Margaret Ann (Garvey) Randerson.
Growing up, Gene was a member of St. John's Catholic Parish. He was baptized, made his First Holy Communion at St. John's, and attended schools in Little Chute until the family moved to Freedom to take over the Randerson Family homestead farm. Gene attended St. Nicholas Catholic School (Freedom, WI) for seventh and eighth grades, graduating in 1944. Gene celebrated solemn communion and confirmation at St. Nicholas Catholic Church.
Gene attended Freedom High School, graduating in 1948. He was involved in basketball, boxing, baseball and musicals. He was the Junior Prom King and an excellent student. After graduation, Gene continued to farm with his father until he joined the U.S. Air Force. He served his country for four years during the Korean Conflict at Lockbourne, S.A.C. Air Force base, Columbus, OH, and was honorably discharged in 1956, just missing the birth of his first daughter.
Gene and Margaret Ann married during the Korean Conflict on August 4, 1955 at St. Nicholas while Gene was still in the Air Force and made their first home in Columbus, OH. Gene brought his bride back to Freedom after being discharged, and with the help of his father, Lee Randerson, Margaret Ann's father, Joseph E. Garvey and close friend Lee Kabat, built their forever home on part of the Randerson Homestead.
Gene graduated from Green Bay Business College, holding down several jobs at a time, including the family farm, to keep pace with his and Margaret Ann's growing family. Gene worked in the Insurance Field and in the Paper industry, using his accounting and supervisory skills, retiring in 1992. He was an active member of St. Nicholas, including singing in the church choirs, a member of the Fox Valleyaires Barbershop Chorus, the Freedom VFW and Knights of Columbus. He was an excellent dancer, learning from his mother in the kitchen of the farmhouse, and loved to hit the dance floor with Margaret Ann, his daughters and granddaughters.
Summers were spent at Kelly Lake, and once the new family cottage was built there, fall, winters and spring were also spent at Kelly Lake. It was all about family with Gene. Especially Thanksgiving; Randerson Family celebrations at Romy's each and every Thanksgiving were legendary. Gene and Margaret Ann celebrated their 62nd Anniversary this past August. Gene's 87th birthday party at Kelly Lake, large as usual, ended with him singing a rousing rendition of "I'm 87 years old"! Gene was an avid golfer, traveler, bowler, reader, bridge player and gardener. His experiences on the Old Glory Honor Flight were life changing. Let's not forget his love of watching TV, especially sports! He passed on his competitiveness, even in dominoes, to all of us.
Margaret Ann has lost her rock, the love of her life. Neither ever wanted to be without the other. After kissing and saying goodnight to his bride, Gene rolled over and went to eternal rest.
Gene and Margaret Ann have six children, who will miss their Dad every day of their lives, especially all of the pranks he pulled: Mary Talbot (Marv), Tom (Jane), Jo Ann, Maureen Vanden Heuvel (Dan), Patti Peters (Randy) and Barb Gerritts (Tommy).

Andrew E. Lambie, Combined Locks, age 85, died on Thursday evening, November 3, 2011 at Appleton Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born on November 26, 1925 in Appleton, son of the late Thurston and Florence (West) Lambie. On June 28, 1947, he was united in marriage to Elaine A. Kampo in Appleton. Andrew was an US Navy Veteran and served on the USS LST 121 during WWII. Upon returning from the South Pacific, he worked at Appleton Papers in Combined Locks until his retirement in 1988. He was a member of the Local 144 International Paper Union where he held the position of Chief Steward for several years. He was a member of VFW Post # 10544 of Combined Locks and the American Legion Post #258 in Little Chute. Andrew was a lifelong member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Combined Locks.
Andrew is survived by two daughters: Barb Glasheen and Deb (Mike) Zornow; four sons: Tom (Donna), Bob (Kim), Dave (Roswitha), Todd (Sherry) Lambie; a daughter-in-law Terri Lambie (special friend John Delie); 15 grandchildren: Bill Glasheen, Tania Zornow, Jason (Julie) Lambie, Ryan Glasheen (friend Melissa), Tara (Randy) Nerison, Matt (Katie) Lambie, Angela (Josh) Brantmeier, Erica (Aaron) Kroner, Amber Lambie, Natascha, Nicholas, and Nathan Lambie, Michael and Sara Lambie, Emily Lambie; nine great-grandchildren: Blake, Austin, and Conner Zornow, Aiden and Lila Glasheen, Morgan and Seamus Glasheen, Bryce Kuehl, and Tanner Nerison; two sisters: Sally (Mark) Jansen and Lois Simons. She is further survived by sisters-in-law: Dorothy and Colette Kampo; a brother-in-law James (Millie) Kampo, and Godchildren: Patty VanderWeyst, Jill O'Neil, and Florence Wade, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Preceding him in death were his wife of 62 years, Elaine, his parents, his in-laws: Frank and Eva (Wickens) Kampo, a son, Andy Lambie, Jr., a granddaughter, Erin Glasheen, a son-in-law, Dan Glasheen, brothers: Leland (Nona) Lambie and Neil Lambie, a sister, Lillian "Sis", brothers-in-law: Gilbert Simons, Alex and Roland Kampo, and sisters-in-law: Carol Kampo and Gladys (Chuck) Moorehead.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2011 at ST.PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 E. Wallace St., Combined Locks with Fr. Robert Vandenberg celebrating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. Full military rites will follow the mass. Friends will be received directly at church on Monday from 3 p.m. until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Andrew's name is being established. Brian E. Grode, 73, Wrightstown, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 19, 1940 in Appleton to the late Edmund and Mildred (West) Grode. Brian farmed all his life on his wife's family farm and also worked construction.
He married Marian Micke on May 15, 1962 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown, and she preceded him in death on January 1, 2013.
Brian enjoyed farming, tractors, going up north, and getting together with his family.

Sandra Lee Lambie, 74, of Appleton, passed away on July 4, 2017 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Little Chute. Sandy was born on August 20, 1942, daughter of the late Leland and Nona (Coakle) Lambie. She was a beautician. Sandy owned La Petite and Valley Fashion. She enjoyed collecting antiques. Sandy also treasured spending time with her family and friends.
Sandy is survived by her brother Stewart (Ruth) Lambie, sisters-in-law; Dolores Lambie and Gerry Lambie (Steve Kehoe). Nieces and nephews; Kevin (Lisa) Lambie, Scott (Lisa) Lambie, Dallas (Nicole) Lambie, Dannelle (Duwayne) Vandort, Christen Lambie, Graham Lambie and Christina (Mike) Kamuda.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Thurston "Turtle" Lambie and Daniel "Bun" Lambie.

Thurston "Turtle" Lambie, 71, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017. Turtle was born on May 21, 1945 in California to Leeland and Nona (Coakley) Lambie. He moved to Kaukauna shortly after his birth and graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1963. He was united in marriage to Dolores Wittmann on January 25, 1964 and they made their home in Appleton. Turtle worked at the oil fields in Ohio, Thilmany, owned Gold Bond Roofing, managed Country Side Bar and the building and maintenance at North Shore Golf Course. For the past nine years he was a bus driver at Kobussen Bus company where he made many special trips with the students. Turtle enjoyed going to the casino, golfing, bowling and helping his family with Dick's Drive In. Spending time with his family was always a special time and those times will always be treasured.
Turtle is survived by his wife Dolores, two sons; Kevin (Lisa) Lambie, and Scott (Lisa Marie) Lambie, grandchildren; Joe, Samantha (Jake), Heather, Riley, Allyson and Ross, a great granddaughter, Izabelle, a sister, Sandy Lambie, and a brother Stewart (Ruth) Lambie, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Turtle was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Daniel "Bun", in-laws, Raymond and Agnes Whitmann.

On May 4, 1968, he united in marriage to Cheryl Beyer. Al retired to Florida after 31 years of service with Calnin & Goss, Inc. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and sitting with family and friends around a campfire at his summer residence in Brussels, WI.

Thomas A. Lambie, Little Chute, age 62, lost a hard fought, five month battle with cancer on Saturday May 18, 2013. He was born in Appleton on May 31, 1950 to the late Andrew E. and Elaine (Kampo) Lambie. Tom graduated from Kimberly High School. He served in the Army from 1968 - 1971. Tom married Donna L. Londo on October 20, 1972 at St. Paul Parish in Combined Locks. He worked in the boiler house at the Appleton Papers Locks Mill for over 30 years. Tom loved watching the Brewers and Packers. He also enjoyed walking and spending time with his grandpuppies. Tom was a talented cook and loved to share his wonderful cooking with everyone, especially his famous potato salad he made for funerals at St. John's. He took great pride watching his son Jason perform with Half Empty.

Verhagen, Emberly A. "Em", Loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law and aunt, Appleton, died unexpectedly in her home on Monday, January 19, 2009. Em was born in Kaukauna on February 22, 1977, daughter of Richard and Sherry (Grode) Wynboom. Em graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1995. She was a certified nursing assistant, volunteered with the Red Cross and was near completion of her Associate Degree through Phoenix University, online. Em was a loving and caring person who was always looking for different ways to help others. Well-known for her sense of humor and sharp wit, she could always be counted on to make someone laugh.
Em was united in marriage to the love of her life, John Verhagen, on July 17, 2003; he survives her along with their two beautiful daughters, Madison and Olivia as well as Em's daughter, Amy. She is further survived by her parents; a sister, Terri (Mark) Eyestone, and their three children, Jenny, Mark Jr. and Aaron; a great nephew, Blake Werner; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a whole lot of friends that thought the world of her.
Em was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Martin and Frances Wynboom and her maternal grandparents, Edmund and Mildred Grode, her uncle Wayne Grode, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Eileen and William Verhagen.
A funeral service for Em will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2009, at Valley Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for her children.
The family of Emberly Verhagen would like to express our sincere thanks to Gold Cross Ambulance, First Responders and the Appleton Police Department for their kindness and professionalism during this difficult time. In addition, words cannot express our gratitude for the kindness and love shared by family and friends.

Obituary:
Eric J. Lambie, 40, of Shiocton, passed away unexpectedly due to an accident on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Theda Clark Hospital. He was born October 27, 1974, son of Al Lambie and the late Cheryl (Beyer) Lambie.
Eric graduated from Seymour High School in 1994. He was employed with Scott Marcks Trucking and Excavating. He enjoyed watching his son, Kody play football and baseball. He also enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting and fishing. He attended the Black Creek Community Bible Church.
Eric is survived by his son, Kody; father, Al; brother, Brad (Faith) Lambie: sister, Dawn (Shane) Becher: grandmother, Virginia Beyer: sister-in-law, Lona Lambie: nieces and nephews: Hope and Missy Lambie, Tristen and Chloe Becher, Riley and Casey Lambie; and special friend, Emily Neuman and her children, Gavin and Lucille.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl; brother, Brian; and grandfather, Harold Beyer.
Friends may call at the Seymour Assembly of God Church, 989 Lincoln St., Seymour on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 12 noon until services at 4:00 pm with Pastor Bernard Ferguson officiating.
