Gloudemans, Richard H. "Rich"Richard H. Gloudemans, 84 of Little Chute, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2 005 at Parkside Care Center, Little Chute. He was born March 21, 1921 in L ittle Chute son of the late Henry and Hattie (Voster) Gloudemans. Mr. Glou demans was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chut e. Richard married Betty Schumacher and she preceded him in death in 198 9. He then married Jacqueline Fiedler May 5, 1990. Richard and his broth er William ran the family business, The Little Chute Supply Company, a nd he retired in 1992 after 52 years. Mr. Gloudemans served his count ry in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Jacob Coppus American Legion P ost #258, Little Chute.Richard is survived by his wife, Jacqueline "Jackie"; three children: Barb ara (John) Babino, Appleton; David (Cindy) Gloudemans, Denver, Colo.; Step hen (Jean) Gloudemans, Appleton; grandchildren: William and Joseph Gloudem ans, Appleton; Gail and Sarah Gloudemans, Denver, Colo.; Kristin and Ne il Gloudemans, Appleton; three step-daughters: Gloria (Richard) Tracey, Po oler, Ga.; Judy (Gary) Swoboda, Two Rivers; Lois (Patrick) Jones, Little C hute; brothers and sisters: William Gloudemans, Little Chute; Anthony (Ver na) Gloudemans, Little Chute; Martha Diedrick, Appleton; brother-in-law a nd sisters-in-law: Ted Van Handel, Kaukauna, Margaret Schumacher, Kimberl y; Valeria Gloudermans, Appleton; step sisters: Marjorie Meulemans, Wright stown; Marion (Joe) Wilz, Menasha; eight step grandchildren, 15 step great -grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew Gloudemans; brothers and si sters: John (Margaret) Gloudemans; Peter Gloudemans; Mary, twin of Peter G loudemans; Joseph Gloudemans; Elizabeth Van Handel; sister and step brothe r-in-law, Ann (Willis) Schumacher; sister-in-law, Florence Gloudemans; bro ther-in-law, Elmer Diedrick; step-brothers: Edmund (Millie) Schumacher; Ro bert Schumacher; step sister, Elizabeth Schumacher; step brother-in-law, B ernard Meulemans.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2005 at St. Jo hn Nepomucene Catholic Church with Rev. Patrick Beno officiating. Interme nt will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call at the chu rch from 9 a.m. Saturday until the time of the mass. Military rites wi ll be conducted by the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post #258, Little Chu te following the mass. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.Richard's family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses for the wonderf ul care he received at St. Elizabeth Hospital and the Fox Valley Metro Pol ice and Gold Cross for their rapid response and emergency care along wi th Parkside Care Center and Affinity Hospice for the special loving care R ich received there.He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He wi ll truly be missed by all.
