    Frances Kerkhof passed away peacefully on Friday, May 5, 2006, at the age of 90. She was born January 26, 1916, in Kimberly to the late Marinus and Dora (Natrop) Van Beek.Frances was preceded in death by her husband, William Kerkhof; sons: Anthony, John and Peter; sisters, Maryann Gorman and Pauline Pleier; brothers: Ben, John, Marty and Peter Van Beek.She was a loving mother to Dorothy (Ted) Spierings, Sharon (Tony) Kerkhof, Rene (Sigi) Kerkhof, Ida Kerkhof (Bill Lehl), Bill (Sharon) Kerkhof, Nancy (Rik) Mannie, Diane (Mike) Trunkey, all of Santa Rosa, California; Ben (Diane) Kerkhof, Black Forest, Colorado; Ginny (Bill) Poncia, Sebastopol, California and loving sister to Richard (Gloria) Van Beek, Marietta, Georgia. Frances was an adored grandmother of 20 and great-grandmother of 2 7. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.She enjoyed gardening, traveling and, most of all, being with her family. She will be lovingly missed by all who knew her.Family and friends will gather at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Kimberly, f rom 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 1. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. David Pleier, her nephew officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Frances's name to VNA Hospice, 1110 N. Dutton Ave., Santa Rosa, CA 95401

    Pleier, Pauline M.Age 82, lifelong resident of Kimberly, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004 at her ho me after a brief illness. She was born July 22, 1921 in Kimberly, Wi s. to the late Marinus and Nellie (Willems) Van Beek. On July 24, 1943 s he married Ralph Pleier at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Kimber ly and they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last year. Pauline w as an active member of Holy Name Parish, singing in the New Life Choir, se rving funeral lunches and was involved with many other activities. She w as an avid bowler and also loved to golf. She and her husband Ralph were v olunteers serving meals on wheels.Survivors include her husband, Ralph; her son, Rev. David Pleier, Green Ba y; her sister, Frances Kerkhof, Santa Rosa, Calif.; her brother and sister -in-law, Dick and Gloria Van Beek, Marietta, Ga.; two sisters-in-law, Kat ie Van Beek, Kimberly; Salle Van Beek, Kaukauna; many nieces, nephews a nd many friends.Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, John, Mart y, Pete and Ben; one sister, Mary Ann; a brother-in-law, Wim Kerkhof; thr ee sisters-in-law, Betty, Kay and Pat Van Beek.Friends may call at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 602 East Kimber ly Ave., Kimberly, Wis. from 1 to 6 p.m. Wednesday. The Mass of Christi an Burial will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Dav id Pleier, her son, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

    It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Mark Van Beek, age 48, of Marietta, Ga. He died on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011. He was born Oct. 9, 1963, in Appleton, Wis., to Gloria (Wingrove) and Richard Van Beek. He attended Kimberly High School and graduated from Sprayberry High School, Marietta, Ga., after moving to Georgia with his parents in 1980.
    After high school, Mark worked for various automotive shops and as manager of Auto Zone in Dallas, Ga.
    Mark married Darlene Potts of Chicago, Ill., on Sept. 16, 1995, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Chicago. Mark was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marietta, Ga. He was a great fan of the Green Bay Packers and of NASCAR and enjoyed traveling.
    He is survived by his wife, Darlene (Potts) Van Beek; his parents, Richard and Gloria Van Beek, all of Marietta, Ga.; a brother, Bret Van Beek and Bret's daughter, Alyssa Van Beek, Roswell, Ga. He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Kyther Potts and sister-in-law, Taz Potts and their daughter, Briele and son, Demetrius, Edgefield, S.C.; a brother-in-law, Art Potts, Chicago, Ill.; an uncle and aunts and numerous cousins and friends.
    Mark was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Van Beek; paternal grandparents, Marinus and Nellie Van Beek; maternal grandparents, George and Gertrude Wingrove; several aunts and uncles.
    A Memorial Mass, officiated by Mark's cousin, the Rev. David Pleier, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 600 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly, Wis.
    Friends and family may gather at church one hour before the 11 a.m. service.
    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society (The money will go to the Children's Christmas Giving Tree, with memo stating in memory of Mark Van Beek.) c/o St. Joseph Catholic Church, 87 Lacy St., Marietta, GA 30060-1111.
