    Obituary:
    Doug Loose, age 51, of N8747 County Road QQ, Fond du Lac, this cowboy went to the big rodeo in the sky unexpectedly on Sunday February 14, 2010. He was born on April 8, 1958 in Chilton, son of Gene & Helen (Holzschuh) Loose. He married Wendy Schigur on May 22, 1999, in the Town of Adel. Doug trained and shoed horses for a living. He was the Horse Project Leader for the local 4H program. His passion was team roping, rodeo events, and his grandchildren.
    Survivors include his wife Wendy, his children, Crysta (John) Ladwig, Ryan Loose, Brittany Loose, Jason (Kim) Riebe, Anna Riebe and significant other Joel Schukow. He was also a devoted grandfather to Lexi Beth, Zach, and Chase. Survivors also include his parents Gene and Helen Loose, sisters and brother, Debbie (Junior) Doughty, Mike (Penny) Loose, Marge (Darrell) Mathiebe, his trusty steed, Bay, and many other relatives and friends.
    Doug was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cap and Verona Loose, and Ivo and Rose Holzschuh.
    Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 19th at 7 p.m. at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion. Rita Heraly will officiate. Burial will be in the Potter Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Fri. from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
    Doug was a legend in his own mind and those he touched. "Catch the heels Cowboy!"
