    Grimm, Della T.Delta T. Grimm, of Lancaster, New York, formerly of Little Chute, age 9 1, peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2004 at Hospice and Palli ative Center, Cheektowaga, New York. She was born July 14, 1913 in Litt le Chute, daughter of the late John J. and Antonette (van Domelen) Van Han del. Della married Elmer Grimm on August 31, 1936. Della was employed by t he Little Chute School District for many years as a secretary.She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute a nd a charter member and first treasurer of St. John Mission Club where s he enjoyed going on Wednesdays to work and visit with friends before movi ng to New York in 2002. At one time, Della and her husband were avid arche rs, and in 1951, she and Elmer were the Wisconsin Target Archery Champion s. She was a life member and former secretary of Fox Valley Archers a nd a member of Wisconsin Archers Association. In later years, Della beca me interested in her family history and enjoyed researching her heritage a nd sharing it with other family members. She was a member of Fox Valley Ge nealogical, Wisconsin State Genealogical Society, State Historical Socie ty of Wisconsin, Appleton Heritage Society and Dutch Heritage Society. S he also belonged to Little Chute Golden Agers, American Legion Auxiliary # 258 and St. Elizabeth Society.Della is survived by her son, Charles (Patricia) Grimm and grandchildre n: Erin Grimm of Lancaster, New York; and Eric Grimm, Appleton; special ni ece, Lynn (Thomas) Landers, Kimberly; five sisters: Josephine Verbeten, Ha rriet Busch, Helen McCormick and Ruth Hartjes, all of Little Chute; a sist er-in-law, Viola Verkuilen, Kaukauna; several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer in 1986; three brothers a nd sisters-in-law: Willard (Millard), Julius (Adele), Clarence (Louise) V an Handel; three sisters: Edith Weyenberg, Cora and Jane Van Handel; broth ers-in-law: Roman Haupt, Adolph Toben, Howard Verbeten, John Busch, Lew is McCormick, Alois Weyenberg, Louis Verkuilen, Carl (Frankie) Grimm, Walt er Grimm; father and mother-in-law, Otto (Emma) Grimm.Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, August 13, 2004 at S t. John Catholic Church with Rev. Patrick Beno officiating. Interment wi ll be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call at the church f rom 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Gr imm's family would like donations to be made to St. John Mission Club in D ella's name.
