    Loretta A. Keuler, age 96, of Chilton, died on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at the Century Ridge in Chilton. She was born July 18, 1915 in Charlestown, daughter of the late Martin & Magdalena (Gruber) Geiser. She married Reuben Keuler on November 8, 1939; he preceded her in death on May 11, 2002. Loretta loved and cherished her faith; she was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church where she had also been a member of the Christian Women. She was also a member of the Catholic Knights and the Mission Society where her skilled hand created numerous quilts for those in need. Loretta was a kind and patient person who valued everyday blessings like sewing, needlework, and puzzles. She enjoyed gardening and flowers and was well known for her delicious home cooked meals and mouth watering desserts. Loretta always possessed a positive attitude and went out of her way to help others who needed it. Though soft spoken, Loretta kept her sense of humor throughout her life and was extremely grateful for those who touched her life in so many ways. Survivors include her children: Paul (Jane) Keuler of Milwaukee, Ray (Monica) Keuler of Chilton, Joan (Ed) Laird of Sussex, Karen (Bob) Mand of Green Bay, Ken (Renee) Keuler of Thiensville, Helen (Mike) Miller of Milwaukee, Steve (Jeanne) Keuler of Chilton, Tony (Marcia) Keuler of Cedarburg, David (Lynne) Keuler of New Berlin, Todd Teske of Clintonville; her grandchildren: Dorothy, Paul, Mike, Kevin, Sara, Chrissy, Jenny, Alex, Nick, Emily, Scott, Elizabeth, Nathan, J.D., Kayla, Aaron; her great-grandchildren; Kyra, Kimberly, Joshua, Reuben, Oliver, Lauren, Natalie, Meghan; a brother: Alfred Geiser; a sister: Evelyn (Don) Konen; a sister-in-law: Lois Geiser; and a brother-in-law: Paul Kees. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Reuben; and 9 siblings: Norbert, Arthur, Alvin, Arnold, Alice, Viola, Leona, Gerald, & Roger. Funeral service will be at 11:30 AM on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main St.) in Chilton with the Rev. Bob Kollath officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday, November 27, 2011 and on Monday at the church from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.     Viola L. Kees, age 82, of Hilbert, died on Friday, August 12, 2005 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah. She was born on June 18, 1923 in the Town of Charlestown daughter of the late Martin and Magdalena (Gruber) Geiser. She married Paul Kees on June 15, 1944 at St. Martin Catholic Church in Charlestown. She and her husband farmed throughout their lives in the Town of Woodville. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in St. John, a member of the Christian Mothers for over 50 years, a choir member for over 20 years, and served as secretary for over 22 years for the Catholic Knights Branch #148. She also loved crocheting, quilting, gardening, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    She is survived by 9 children; Carol (Leon) Thiel of Appleton, Paul Jr. (Carolyn) Kees of Victoria, TX, Margie Thiel of Hilbert, Sandy (Tim) Gossens of Middleton, John (Sherry) Kees of Potter, Jean (Doug) Lindsley of Norway, MI, Kathy (Wayne) Eldred of Appleton, Pat (Steve) Hutchison of Newton, Don Kees of Hilbert, 25 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters; Loretta Keuler of Chilton, Alice Geiser of Chilton, Leona Schneider of Chilton, Evelyn (Don) Konen of Jericho, and 6 brothers; Alvin Geiser of Chilton, Arnold Geiser of Chilton, Alfred Geiser of Hilbert, Art Geiser of Chilton, Roger (Lois) Geiser of Chilton, Gerald Geiser of Chilton. She was preceded in death by a brother Norbert Geiser, 2 brothers-in-law; Reuben Keuler and Martin Schneider, 5 sisters-in-law; Marie, Madelyn, Marcella, Bertha, and Shirley Geiser a son-in-law Dick Thiel, and a grandson Christopher Thiel.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in St. John with the Rev. David Zimmerman officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at Wieting Family Funeral Home, 411 W. Main St., Chilton from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday and again at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. when family prayers will be held. A parish prayer service will be held on Monday evening at the funeral home at 7:45 p.m.

    Roger P. Geiser, age 79, of Chilton, died on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at West Haven in Brillion. He was born November 29, 1931 in Charlestown, son of the late Martin & Magdalena (Gruber) Geiser. Roger married Lois Thiel on October 26, 1954 at St. John Catholic Church in St. John. After marriage, he served his country in the United States Navy from 1956-1958. Roger worked for Hingiss Implement in Chilton and the Chilton Plating Company until retiring in 1993. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the Catholic Knight, Charlestown Chapter. Roger was a quiet man who, in the summer, spent morning until night in his garden. During the winter, Roger was content cracking hickory nuts in his free time. Roger was devoted to his family and always enjoyed going to his children and grandchildren's sporting events. He was a strong man of faith who loved his church and loved being able to volunteer his time to make the church stronger. Survivors include his wife: Lois; his children: Marty (Jenna) Geiser of DeForest; Myron (Ann) Geiser of Kaukauna; 5 grandchildren: Garrett, Megan, Grace, McKayla & Erin; a brother: Alfred Geiser; 2 sisters: Loretta Keuler, Evelyn (Don) Konen; and a brother-in-law: Paul Kees. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son: Larry; a grandchild: Bradley Geiser; and 8 siblings. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main St.) in Chilton with the Rev. Bob Kollath officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Chilton. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, November 18, 2011 and on Saturday at the church from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. A Knights of Columbus prayer service will take place at the close of visitation on Friday evening. The family would like to thank all those who provided such loving care to Roger, especially the staff of West Haven in Brillion.
