Obituary:
Herbert J. McCormick, Formerly of 202 Whitney St., Kaukauna
Age 75, passed away at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Veterans Hospital at Tomah after a short illness. He was born July 18, 1897 in Bark River, Mich. He made his home with the late Mr. and Mrs. William Hoolihan. Survivors are neices and nephews, Mr. and Mr. Francis Alears, Kaukauna; Mr. and Mrs. Karl Piepenberg, Combined Locks; Mr. and Mrs. Nick Vander Pas, Little Chute; Mr. and Mrs. Don Reider, Minneapolis; Mrs. James Hoolihan, Appleton and other nieces and nephews. He served in World War I and World War II and was a member of the American Leagion Post No. 41 of Kaukauna. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with Rev. Charles Fredericks officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Monday with prayer service at 8 p.m. Monday.
