My grandmother, Evelyn Louella VandenBerg (VandeHei) is the daug hter of Jacob Vandehei and Helen VanStraten. I do not have the birth dat es of Jacob or Helen, but I did have their wedding date as October of 189 9. I see in your data that you have it as June 6, 1879. I highly doubt th at there are two Jacob Vandehei/Helen VanStraten couples in the same peri od of history, but it could happen.

Vanden Berg, Evelyn LouellaEvelyn Louella Vanden Berg passed away peacefully on Oct. 18, 2004, aft er a long, happy life. Evelyn was born on Feb. 18, 1910, and was the four th daughter of Jacob and Helen VandeHei. Evelyn was married to Raymond Van den Berg on Oct. 23, 1937, and had three children.She will be sadly missed by her two daughters and one son, Patricia and Ro bert Roffers, Catherine and Mike Pellowski and Robert and Sue Vanden Ber g. She will also be sadly missed by her ten grandchildren and 15 great-gra ndchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; his three brothers, How ard, Sylvester and Clarence Vanden Berg; two sisters, Ruth Reiter and Nao mi Lemerond. She was also preceded by her five sisters and two brothers, F lorence Lasee, Mable Hazaert, Genevieve Van Dreel, Helen Paulsen, Blanc he Willems, Alphonse VandeHei and Mike VandeHei.She was a very active member of St. Joseph Church in West De Pere all h er life. Evelyn spent the last 15 years at Rennes Health Center in De Pe re and remained happily involved until the end. Evelyn loved to read and p lay cards. She accepted and embraced life, and its trials, with enthusia sm and love. She was truly a tribute to a troubled world.Private family funeral services were held yesterday at RYAN FUNERAL HOM E, De Pere, with the Rev. Timothy Shillcox, O.Praem, officiating. Buri al in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
