Hoffman, David G.David G. Hoffman, 55, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004 at a Manor Care Health S ervices. David was born in Appleton on Nov. 14, 1948, son of the late Dona ld Hoffman and Sylvera (Wenzel) Hoffman of Greenleaf who survives. Fr om a young child on, David enjoyed playing with trucks, tractors, and cran es. His love for that hobby eventually led him to Milwaukee where he fou nd work as a heavy equipment operator. He lived in Milwaukee most of his a dult life, until his health failed three years ago. At that time, he retur ned to the area to be with his family. David enjoyed hunting, golfing, a nd the friendship and companionship of his beloved dog, Star.David is survived by his mother: Sylvera Hoffman of Greenleaf; 14 brothe rs and sisters: Don (Shirley) Hoffman, Wrightstown; Dennis (Diane) Hoffma n, Kaukauna; Diane (Steve) Brittnacher, Greenleaf; Dale Hoffman, Greenlea f; Debbie (Dave) Vanderlois, Neenah; Duane Hoffman, Greenleaf; Darlene Swe dberg, Appleton; Dan (Dolly) Hoffman, Kaukauna; Doug Hoffman, Winneconn e; Dick (Lisa) Hoffman, Kaukauna; Darrell (Cheryl) Hoffman, Greenleaf; Dew ey Hoffman, Kaukauna; Dean Hoffman, Kaukauna; and Dawn (John) Berghuis, Ka ukauna. David is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and u ncles.
He was preceded by his father Donald Hoffman in 1986.Funeral services for David will be held at 6 p.m. Monday (TODAY) at the Fa rgo Funeral Home in Kaukauna with Pastor Ronald Hannan officiating. Interm ent will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home t oday from 4p.m. until the hour of the service at 6 p.m..The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at St. Elizab eth Hospital as well as to everyone at Manor Care Health Services.
