    Obituary:
    Richard R. Lancour, of Kaukauna, age 74, died Wednesday, October 13, 2004 following a very courageous battle with cancer. Richard was born April 10, 1930 to the late Rudolph and Theresa (Brunner) Lancour in Cadott, WI. He married Leona "Lee" Vanden Hoogen on November 8, 1958 at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute. Richard enlisted into the U.S. Army in 1951, serving as a Corporal with the 38th Regiment Tank Company during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1953. He worked for many years as a Rural Letter Carrier for the U.S. Post Office and after retirement volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul and the V.A. Clinic in Appleton. Richard enjoyed woodworking, deer hunting, fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends at their cottage his father built at Beecher Lake. Richard loved his nine grandchildren and cherished the time he was able to share with all of them.
    He was an active member and usher of Holy Cross Catholic Church and a member of the American Legion Post 258, Little Chute.
    He is survived by his wife, Lee Lancour; a daughter, Lisa (Dan) Peterson and their two children, Nicole & Grace; three sons: Joe (Bridget) Lancour and their two children, Ryan and Claire, Andy (Leah) Lancour and their three children, Bailey, Paul and Rachel and Rick (Chris) Lancour and their two children, Sidney and Casey. He will also be sadly missed by three brothers: Gene (Val) Lancour, Tom (Maryann) Lancour and Ron Lancour; four sisters: Rita (Emil) Gosse, Osa (Ed) Herreid, Verona (Eugene) Haessly and Maryann Nordstrom; and a brother-in-law, Vince (Beti) Ferrari.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Lori, two sisters, Della (Bill) Anholzer and Alice Ferrari.
    The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 16 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna with Fr. Jack T. Mullarkey officiating. Friends will be received on FRIDAY (TODAY) at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Kaukauna from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again Saturday at CHURCH from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow the service at the Parish Cemetery. Full Military Burial Rites will be performed at the Cemetery by American Legion Post 258, Little Chute. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home is assisting the family. 766-2099.

    Lori Ann Lancour Lori Ann Lancour- 2-month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lancour, 511-1/2 W, Seventh street, Kaukauna died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday. She had been ill since she was born Feb. 4 in Kaukauna. The Rev. Peter Salm, of St. Mary church, Kaukauna, officiated at graveside services at St. Mary cemetery Saturday afternoon. Survivors include her parents, one sister, Lisa, at home, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Lancour, Kaukauna, and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Vanden Hoogen, Little Chute.
