Daul, Lloyd C.Daul, Lloyd C.; 88 formerly of Wrightstown and Little Chute, passed aw ay at Appleton Medical Center on Saturday, April 1, 2006, surrounded by h is family. He was born Aug. 5, 1917, in Kaukauna son of William and Adeli ne (Fox) Daul. Mr. Daul was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Churc h, Little Chute. He attended grade school in Freedom and graduated from Fr eedom High School in the class of 1934. He was employed by Murphy Construc tion as a truck driver in 1935 and by Lamers Hardware in 1936. In 19 42 he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in the Pacific theatre f or three-and-a-half years and was discharged on Oct. 16, 1945. Lloyd marri ed the love of his life, Lorraine Sager, Dec. 1, 1945; and on Dec. 1, 200 5, they joyously celebrated 60 years together. Mrs. Daul preceded him in d eath March 29, 2006. They made their home in Wrightstown for 40 years unt il their retirement, at which time they moved to Little Chute in 1985. Dur ing the past year Mr. and Mrs. Daul have resided at St. Paul Home, Kaukaun a. He also was employed by Lamers Hardware Heating and Plumbing. In 196 1, he took over the Lamers Heating and Plumbing business, which became Da ul Plumbing and Heating, until his retirement in 1980. Lloyd enjoyed bowli ng, dancing, playing cards, and being with family. He had a trailer ho me at Lake Poygan and enjoyed fishing and spending time there for 20 year s. Mr. Daul was Commander of American Legion Post #436, Wrightstown for t he years 1955 and 1956 and a member for over 50 years.Lloyd is survived by his three children: Jim and Gretchen Daul, Wauwatos a; Tom and Carol Daul, Kaukauna; Joyce and John Fluty, Parkland, FL; eig ht grandchildren: Michelle (Ken) Weyenberg, Menasha; Renee (Dan) Wallac e, Kaukauna; Laura Daul, Sarasota, FL, and fiance Jeff LaLiberte: James Da ul, Jr., Wauwatosa; Felicia Daul, Minnetonka, MN; Brandon Daul, Appleto n; Jennifer Fluty, Parkland, FL and John Fluty Jr., Parkland, FL; six gre at grandchildren: Kyle; twin girls, Taylor and Miranda and Madelyn Wallac e; Makenna and Maysie Weyenberg; brother, Gerald (Jean) Daul, Freedom; t wo sisters: Lillian (Wilbur) Merkley, Menasha and Helen (Clyde) Thoma s, De Pere; nieces, nephews and other relatives.He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lorraine; an infant daughte r, Janet; his mother and father; two brothers, Joseph and Willard Daul.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at St. Jo hn Nepomucene Catholic Church with Rev. Ken Frozena officiating. Interme nt will be in Union Cemetery, Kaukauna. Friends may call at the church fr om 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the mass. Military rites will be co nducted by the American Legion Post #436, Wrightstown following the mas s.
