    Hi Jay,
    Anna Schwabenlender was born in St John 3-9-1895. She married Albert Reininger on 5-25-1919 in St John. They moved many times over the years, I would have to check the records to see where they lived of their children.
    The children were Armelia Elizebeth b 1921 St John Mary Ann b 1923 Rita Olga, Rosella Irene, Cyril, Sabrina Rose, and Robert Albert.
    Armelia married Arthur W Schmidt, she lives in Green Bay (Preble Park area) He died 3-11-2000 in Green Bay. Their children are Dennis, Delores, Judy, Illa Mae, Wendoline, David, Patricia, Stuart, and Steven.
    Mary Ann married Milton Kassel in Wabeno 1947, she died 10-31-64 in Rhinelander, buried in St Ambrose Cemetery. Milton died 10-18-74 in Rhinelander and is buried in St Ambrose Cemetery.
    I will have to send more later. There is alot of information that I will have to access from my records. I am still waiting for my cousins to send info. It seems that they want the stuff, but are unwilling to have their info included.

    Vila M. "Ellie" Genslak (nee Schwabenlender), Little Chute, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Chilton Care Center. She was born February 24, 1914, in St. John, WI, daughter of George and Elizabeth (Frank) Schwabenlender.
    Mrs. Genslak was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute, and enjoyed gardening. Ellie married Adolph J. Genslak, Sr., celebrating 68 years of marriage prior to his passing on September 23, 2003.
    Ellie is survived by two sons: Stan (Mary) Genslak, Michigan, Tom (Nancy) Genslak, Wisconsin; two daughters: Joan Sweere, Colorado, Sandy (Kuni) Iwata, California; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Adolph, Jr.; grandson, Donald; and a great-grandson, Danny.
    Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2007, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute, with Rev. James Hablewitz officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Town of St. John. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the mass.

    Armella "Toots" Schmidt, 91, Green Bay, died Monday morning, April 30, 2012, at a local care facility. Born on April 7, 1921, in New Holstein, she is the first born child of the late Albert and Anna (Schwabenlender) Reininger. Armella married Arthur W. Schmidt on October 31, 1942, at St. Mary's Church in Greenleaf. He preceded her in death on March 7, 2000. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Church. For Armella, her family and her faith were her life. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Over the years, Armella also found time to serve as a church and community volunteer. She will be remembered for her enjoyment of music, reading, cooking, and crocheting.
    She is survived by nine children and their spouses, Dennis (RoseMarie) Schmidt of Green Bay, Judy (Tom) Kunesh of Stangelville, Delores Krouth of Green Bay, Illomay (Dennis) Laack of Plymouth, David A. Schmidt of Green Bay, Wendy Janosik of Lake Mills, Patricia (Ed) Delwiche of Oneida, Stuart (Cathy) Schmidt of Green Bay, and Steven (Patti) Schmidt of Green Bay; 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Serena "Peggy" (Wally) Dzurick of Porterfield and Robert (Helen) Reininger of Rice Lake; sisters-in-law, Margie Reininger of Townsend, Jean Schmidt of Sherwood, Elaine (Warren) Giese of Sauk City, and Jill Schmidt of Colorado; Goddaughter, Joanie Sweere of Colorado. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
    Armella was further preceded in death by three sisters and their spouses, Mary Ann "Sissy" (Milton) Kasal, Rita (Berthold) Buboltz, and Rosella "Sally" (Francis) Noskey; one brother, Cyril Reininger; other sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

    Rita Buboltz (nee Reininger), 82, of Hartford, passed away Monday, February 12, 2007, at her residence. Rita was born on May 5, 1924, in the Town of Sherwood, Wis., to Albert and Anna (nee Schwablander) Reininger.
    She married Berthold "Bert" Buboltz on October 25, 1947, in Wabeno, Wis. Rita was a very quiet playful and prayerful person, who enjoyed cooking and just loved being a mother.
    Rita is survived by her four loving sons: Albert (Wendy) of West Allis, Roman of Pensaukee, James of Stephenson, Mich., and Jerome of Hartford; two grandchildren: Jason and Jeremy; three beloved sisters: Armella "Tootie" Schmidt of Green Bay, Rosella "Sally" Noskey of Oak Creek, and Serena "Peggy" (Walter) Dzurick of Porterfield, Wis.; two dear brothers: Cyril (Margie) of Townsend, Wis., and Robert (Helen) Reininger of Rice Lake; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert; two sons: Walter and Joseph; one sister, Mary Anne (Milton) Kasal; and her brothers-in-law: Arthur Schmidt, and Frank Noskey.

    Cyril Frank Reininger, age 78, of Townsend, WI passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009 at the Nu-Roc Community Health Care Center, Blackwell. Cyril was born in Morrison, WI on March 11, 1931 the son of the late Albert and Anna (Schwabenlender) Reininger.
    Cyril was the past Town Supervisor and Town Chairman for Townsend. He was active in his community as a member of the Townsend Volunteer Fire Dept., the Knights of Columbus and a past member St. Mary of The Lakes Parish Council. He was also a member of the Sylvan Post 44 of Wabeno. He enjoyed farming.
    Cyril is survived by his wife, Margie of Townsend; sons: Joe Reininger, Wausau; Norbert Reininger, Salem, OR; Albert (Diane) Reininger, New London, OH; William (Barbara) Reininger, Oconomowoc, WI; sisters: Armella (Arthur) Schmidt, Oak Creek, WI; Rosella (Frank) Noskey, Green Bay, WI; Serena (Walter) Dzurick, Porterfield, WI; brother: Robert (Helen) Reininger, Rice Lake, WI; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

    Irene A. Mischler, Kaukauna, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 22, 1928 in St. John, daughter of the late Thomas and Rose (Roehl) Schwabenlender. On February 12, 1952 she was united in marriage to Robert Mischler at St. John the Baptist Church in Hilbert. Irene was a longstanding and faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Kaukauna for over 60 years.
    Irene loved her family so much. She loved family gatherings especially at Christmas. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. Her husband Robert "Bob" was the love of her life. They were so committed to each other that they did everything together. They built a cabin in the woods up in Vilas County where they spent many summers with family and friends and traveled to Biloxi, Mississippi for 30 years with Bob's brother Ben and sister-in-law Betty. Irene loved to golf and was on the ladies golf team at Countryside Golf Course for over 30 years with special friend Nancy. She loved the fish fries on Friday nights at Countryside, going with special friends Nancy and Bernie and Ben and Betty. Irene was a volunteer for 30 years at the Grignon Mansion where she was a docent. She and Bob also were active in Meals on Wheels for the past 17 years.
    Irene is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert; her 7 children: Robert (Donna) Mischler, Jr., Thomas (Allison) Mischler, Timothy (Tricia) Mischler, David (special friend Patti) Mischler, Patricia (Keith) Peipenburg, Susan (Cyril) Mader, and Debra (Mark) Mitchell; 16 Grandchildren: Nicole, Joshua, Adam, Amber, Steve, Crystal, Sierra, Kacie, Logan, Wyatt, Madison, Matthew, Michele, Tim, Jessica, and Michaela; 20 great-grandchildren and special little Buddy Hailey.
    She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson Sam.

    Steven H. Schmidt, 54, Green Bay, passed away much too soon from heart failure on Saturday, May 4, 2013. He was born January 2, 1959 in Green Bay to Arthur and Armella (Reininger) Schmidt. Steven was a graduate of Preble High School, class of 1977. On October 8, 1983, he married his best friend, Patti "Trish" Parent, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Steve had been employed at Straubel Paper since 1984. Steve was a devoted husband and father. His children were his life. The boundless love for them, his faith and family was evident every day. Steve's remarkable wisdom, humor and insight were a calming force for all who knew him. He was a selfless, caring, musically gifted man, who composed and recorded his own music. He was a member of the Annunciation Church where he sang in the choir. He used his musical talents to bring joy to the community. Steve was the leader of the Jam Band, a musical group of friends, that provided entertainment for the Quad Parishes. Heaven gained a great man.
    He is survived by his wife, Patti "Trish"; two children, Patrick Steven Schmidt, Elizabeth Ann Schmidt and special friend, Alex Hupke; eight brothers and sisters and their spouses, Dennis (RoseMarie) Schmidt, Judy (Tom) Kunesh, Dee Krouth, Illa (Dennis) Laack, David Schmidt, Wendy Janosik, Patricia (Ed) Delwiche, Stuart (Cathy) Schmidt; two sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen (Gary) Allen, Nance Parent (Sabrina Jewett); many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

    Cynthia Marie Grosskopf age 51 of Manitowoc, WI, formerly of Townsend, WI died Nov 30, 2008 as the result of a motor vehicle accident. She was born in Laona, WI on February 2, 1957 to Cyril and Margie (Kowalchyk) Reininger. After attending college, she worked for Donahue Engineering.
    She is survived by her parents Cyril and Margie of Townsend, WI. ;
    One daughter Sarah; one step-son Christopher, Arizona;
    Four brothers, Joseph, Wausau, WI, Norbert, Salem, OR, Albert (Diane), New London, OH and William (Barbara), Rockford, IL.
    The services will be private . Interment in St. Mary's of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood at a later date. Suminski Funeral Home, (715-473-3131), Wabeno, WI assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences to suminskifuneral.com
