    Van Remortel, Marcella Ire neMarcella Irene Van Remortel, 82, De Pere, passed away Sunday, November 2 0, 2005, at a local nursing home. She was born September 10, 1923, in De P ere, daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Vanderlinden) Van Remortel. S he graduated from East De Pere High School, and had worked at Royal Cleane rs in De Pere/Green Bay until retirement. Marcella was an avid Packer fa n, and she also played semi-professional softball, pitching for Kegler's C lub. In her later years, Marcella enjoyed walking and was a common site ar ound town.Survivors include many nieces and nephews as well as other family and frie nds.Marcella was preceded in death by her parents and 11 siblings.Family and friends may call Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005, from 4:00 p.m. to 8: 00 p.m. at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere, where the re will be a Parish Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will contin ue on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at St. Francis Xavi er Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere. Mass of Christian Buri al will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at church, with the Re v. V. Anthony Dolski officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemeter y, De Pere.

    William C. Eiting, age 82, Ashwaubenon, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014 succumbed to cancer. He was born on May 24, 1932 to the late Arnold and Cecelia (Vanremortal) Eiting in De Pere. William served his country in the United States Army. William was a kind, loving, hardworking man.
    He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Phyllis; one son, James; grandson, Jason (Natalie) Eiting; two great-grandchildren, Cecilia Marie and Colton Thomas; a special sister, Mary and good friend, Art. Also survived by two very special finches, Sammy and Sarah.
    He was preceded in death by his son, Kim and daughter-in-law, Pauline.

    Robert J. "Bob" Eiting, 73, Green Bay, died Saturday, May 14, 2016 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on May 23, 1942, in De Pere to Arnold and Cecilia (Van Remortal) Eiting.
    Bob was a graduate of West De Pere High School, Class of 1961. For 38 years, he worked as an electrician at Fort Howard Paper Company and later for TSA for 10 years. On October 20, 1962, Bob married Judi Martin at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Green Bay. He loved the outdoors. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time up north. He also enjoyed watching the Packers and Brewers, and spending time with his family. He had great pride in his yard and the neighborhood took notice. Bob will be remembered as a loving, caring husband, father, and grandfather.
    Bob is survived by his wife, Judi; two daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and Mark Konop, and Michelle and Matt Greely; grandchildren, Hannah Greely, Luke Greely, Taylor Konop and Kevin Konop; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary (Leonard) Kellner, and Pat (Robert) Loonsfoot; niece, Lana (Jim) Stauber and their family; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter, Molly; his parents; and a brother William (Phyllis) Eiting.
    Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may also call at SS.     Barbara A. (Quella) Baumgart, 52, Hortonville, was called to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, December 25, 2013, due to complications following a Stem Cell Transplant.
    Barb was born on June 25, 1961 in Appleton, to Eugene and Sally (Van Remortel) Quella, the second eldest of 8 children. Barb was a 1979 graduate of Hortonville High School. On July 10, 1980, Barb was united in holy matrimony to Daniel H. Baumgart. Together they shared 33 years of marriage. God blessed them with five children, six grandchildren, and two more on the way. Barb herself said she lived her life to love and care for Dan and their children. In her last days, she said she had everything she ever wanted in life. Barb was a dedicated wife, a loving mother and grandmother. When it came to her family, if anyone needed her, she was sure to be there, giving us nothing but her best. Barb was a wonderful example to her children and grandchildren. She could light up the room with her smile. Very seldom would you stop over and leave hungry. She was a fantastic cook and baker. She could make anything you wanted, all from scratch. Barb and Dan enjoyed spending time at their cabin in Kickapoo Valley, many memories have been made there. Barb was a faithful member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. It can not be put into words how greatly she will be missed.
    Barb is survived by her loving husband, Dan; their five children, Benjamin (Jodi) Baumgart, Samuel Baumgart (fiancé Tiffany Kuhnke), Teresa (Jared) Nelson, Christine (Sam) Beyer, and April Baumgart (special friend Trevor Doherty); six grandchildren, Brent and Blake Baumgart, Braelynn Baumgart, Connor, Alexia and Ethan Nelson. She is further survived by her parents, siblings; David (Ingrid) Quella, Janice JanseVreeling, Steven (Terri) Quella, Carol (Chris) Sullivan, Mary (Rick) Sanders, John (Aimee) Quella, Nancy (Greg) Hayes; Dan's parents, Walter and Beverly Baumgart, Dan's siblings, their spouses, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Barb was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Raymond T. and Claudine Quella and maternal grandparents Clarence and Dorothy Van Remortel.
    The Funeral Mass for Barb will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Greenville (N2385 Municipal Drive) with Fr. Dan Felton and Fr. Mark VanderSteeg officiating. Family and friends may visit directly at church Friday, January 3, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again directly at church Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery at a later date.
    Dan would like to express his gratitude to MCC, and fellow employees, for being so wonderful to him during this difficult time. With your compassion, understanding, and flexibility, Dan was able to love and care for Barb through everything up until the end. Our family is very grateful, words cant express what you've done for us.
    Our family would like to thank Fr. Dan Felton, Fr. Mark VanderSteeg, and Fr. Justin Werner for all of the spiritual guidance and support you've given us. From the beginning of our journey to the end, you have individually guided Barb, Dan and our families, in different ways, at different times. With each of you, we find comfort that the Lord has embraced Barb, and has given her the most beautiful gift this Christmas.
    We would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Appleton Medical Center, Froedtert Hospital and the BMT Unit, as well as the doctors and nurses at Cherry Meadows Hospice.
