    Patricia Vander Heiden, Appleton, age 70, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2006, at Franciscan Care Center. Pat was born in Neenah on August 17, 1936, daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (Handler) Wilfling, and on July 2, 1955, married Kenneth Vander Heiden in Appleton. Kenneth preceded Patricia in death on July 25, 1991. She was a charter member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Appleton. Pat enjoyed working crossword puzzles and word searches, decorating for the holidays, and traveling. Her most precious memories were the times shared with her grandchildren.
    Patricia is survived by two sons: Ken (Jean) Vander Heiden, Appleton, and their children Heidy (Jesse) Rohan, Erik, and Cameron; and Keith Vander Heiden, Appleton, and his children Ryan, Adam, Travis, Keith Jr., Angelyca, and Stefany; two great-grandchildren: Audrie and Lydiah; three sisters: Nancy Heinzkill, Appleton; Sue (Tom) Luba, New London; and Becky (Bob) Landgraf, Kimberly; three brothers: Joseph (Bev) Wilfling III, Neenah; Jerry (Paulette) Wilfling, Nevada; and Mike (Esther) Wilfling, Kentucky; and three sisters-in-law: Linda Wilfling, California; Rose (Eldon) Vorpahl, Appleton; and Teri Vander Heiden, Nevada. Patricia is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and a very special "grandchild," Danielle.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother Tom Wilfling, a brother-in-law Frank Vander Heiden, and a sister-in-law Yvonne Vander Heiden.
    Funeral services for Pat will be at 11 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2006, at GOOD SHEPHERD LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2220 East College Avenue, with Revs. Martin E. Koeller and Timothy Seabaugh officiating. Interment will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, and again from 10 a.m. Friday until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society or to the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Fox Valley. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to everyone at Franciscan Care Center, especially the caregivers on Unit 4. You made Mom's stay as comfortable as possible and treated her as though she was your own. Your kindness will never be forgotten.s

    Nancy Heinzkill, age 70, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at Manor Care. She was born December 7, 1938, daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (Handler) Wilfling. She loved the Green Bay Packers and was an avid Packers Fan!
    Nancy is survived by her three children: Robert (Kathy) Heinzkill, Marcia (Daniel) Earhart, Steve Heinzkill; seven grandchildren: Tara (Fiance, Kevin) Heinzkill, Paul Heinzkill, Amanda (Bryan) Jones, Ali Besaw, Dale Earhart, Stephanie Heinzkill, John Heinzkill; two step-grandchildren: Wesley and Heather Micke; five great-grandchildren: Ethan Kane, River Stuck, Morgan and Payton Jones, Jordan; three brothers: Joe (Bev) Wilfling, Jerry (Paulette) Wilfling, Mike (Esther) Wilfling; two sisters: Sue (Tom) Luba, Becky (Bob) Landgraf; special cousin, Anarie Halaychik; numerous nieces and nephews.
    Nancy was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia; a brother, Tom; and a daughter-in-law, Sandra Heinzkill.
    A Memorial Service will be held for Nancy on Saturday, December 27, 2008, at 4 p.m., at Martens-Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha. A visitation will be held at 2 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

    John D. Heinzkill, age 26 of Neenah, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 6, 2012. He was born May 12, 1986 to Steve and Evette (Thorson) Heinzkill.
    John was a very fun loving family man with a special spot in his heart for his son, Jordan. He enjoyed going for walks and long drives in the country with his family, and taking Jordan to arcades. John was a quiet man, but also loved joking around. He was funny and playful and liked to have a good time. He loved hunting, fishing, and will be remembered as a perfectionist that never gave up on any endeavor.
    John will be sadly missed by his fiancée and partner of nine years, Jordania Escamilla; their son, Jordan; his parents: Steve Heinzkill and Evette Heinzkill; his sister, Stephanie (David) Leisure; paternal grandfather, Robert Heinzkill; maternal grandparents: Jerome and Betty Thorson; Jordania's parents: Julie Luedke and Chuck Escamilla; and many other family members and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Pauline Thorson, Nancy Heinzkill, and Lillian Hawkins; his uncle, Barry Thorson; and Jordania's grandmother, Clara Luedke.
    A memorial service for John will be held at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at St. Thomas Church, Fr. Ralph Osborne officiating. Visitors may call at church from 5:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to support his son, Jordan and his future.
