    See Image Mrs. Arthur G. Pennings, (Be rnice M. Widmar) 5950 W. Missouri Ave. Glendale, AZ, Age 72, died at 12: 41 am Saturday Novemner 19, 1988, after a courageous battle with cancer. S he was born May 8, 1916, in Hanover, Ill. and had been an Appleton reside nt most of her life. Bernice had been employed by Piggly Wiggly, Kroger, K rambo and A & P stores for more than 30 years. She and her husband mov ed to the Phoenix, Ariz. area in 1981 where she has lived since that tim e. She was a former member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Appleton. S he is survived by her husband, Arthur, whom she married on Aug. 18, 193 4; seven daughters and three sons-in-law. Shirley Crane of Appleton, Elai ne and Ernest Flunker of Fremont, Anita Samson of New London, Marlene, Gr uepzmacher of Mehasha, Kay and Jack Williams of Osseo, Nancy Pennin gs of Neenah, Colleen and David Baehnman of Appleton; a son and daughter-i n-law, Wayne and Barbara Pennings of Appleton; a brother and sister-in-la w, Wallace and Violet Widmar of Chilton; 19 grandchildren; 11 great grandc hildren, a great-uncle, Al Kass of Menasha; and two nephews: She was prece ded in death by her parents, John and Kathryn (Newhouse) Widmar: a grands on, Gregory Crane; and a great-grandson Eric Delzer.Complete funeral services will be at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1617 W P ine St Appleton; Father Orville H. Lassen officiating. Friends may ca ll at Wichmann Funeral Home Tuesday 2 to 8 pm. A memorial fund is being e stablished. "It is the sincere wish of the family that friends and colleag ues attend the Tuesday evening service to celebrate her good works and cou rage, and with the understanding that her battle is now over."

    Gregory Crane died from a gun shot wound. He is buried in Dale cemetary. He was 7 at the time of the accident. Son of Shirley and Orville Crane (divorced). Greg past away well before 1975 even! Funeral home was Borchart and Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville WI.
    Marlene Gruetzmacher-(Pennings) She died from a severe heart attack. lived in Menasha
    She was divorced from her husband Gary whom she preceeded in death. Theda Clark Hospital was where they tried the various shunts for her heart. however, speaking to the doctor and other staff, the family was going to lose her.

    Appleton - Melody Delzer, Appleton, age 62, died peacefully on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at her home after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 2, 1955 in Appleton, Wisconsin, the daughter of Orville Crane and Shirley Pennings. Melody worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at various locations throughout the Fox Valley. She also worked for Touch Point Insurance for many years. She retired from Theda Care Central Scheduling this spring. On July 28, 1973, Melody married Dan Delzer in Dale, Wisconsin; they were married for 44 years.
    Melody is survived by her parents, Orville (Linda) Crane, Greenville, Shirley Hartfiel, Kimberly, her husband Dan, Appleton, a loving daughter, Kara Delzer, Combined Locks, and her 3 grandchildren: Austin, Kaelyn and Camdyn; she is further survived by her mother-in-law, Betty Delzer, New London and a brother-in-law, Ken Delzer; brother, Steven (Peggy) Crane, sister, Jean (Chuck) Bintzler, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
    Melody was preceded in death by her son, Erich and brother Greg.
    Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna, WI. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery, Dale, WI. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 11:00 am until the time of service.

    Brian Miller, Appleton, age 49, died early on Wednesday morning, October 3, 2007. After years of battling various health conditions, it became necessary to enlist the wonderful staff at Brewster Village to monitor his care. Brian was born June 22, 1958, son of the late Merlin and Marlene Miller. He was a graduate of the Hortonville High School, and honorably served his country as a member of the United States Navy.
    Brian is survived by a sister: Cindy (Pete) Beyer of Appleton; a brother: Greg A. Miller of Appleton; an uncle: Floyd (June) Miller of Mackville; and cousins: Mike, Bill, and Joe Miller, all of Appleton.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.
    Since his discharge from the Navy in 1979, Brian has fought many battles in his life and was always thankful for the consistent friendship, comfort, and continuity of care he received through Agape of Appleton and Francis "Stack" Heesakker; their support has been invaluable to his family. The staff of Symphony Place at Brewster Village will always have the lasting thanks of his family for all of the care and services they provided for Brian while he lived there. Truly, through his compassionate and respectful nature, Brian touched the hearts of everyone who knew or worked with him over the years. He will be dearly missed.
    Funeral services for Brian will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2007, at the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Tim Albrecht officiating. Interment will full military rites will take place at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, Wisconsin. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
    To Dr. Vogel, each and every nurse and aide, support staff at Brewster Village, Vicki and her staff at Agape of Appleton, and Stack: You all made Brian feel important and he was able to go to his final resting place with pride and dignity. Thank you all so very much.

    born june 22, 1958 died 10/3/2007 at the age of 49, from severe advanced emphysema (COPD) + related to head trauma. Buried in King (Veteran's Cemetary) provided full military honors.
    Brian died in my arms at the nursing home; Brewster Village, Appleton where he was living for less than one year before he died. Navy Vet. from 1976 -1978
