Obituary:
Gerald P. VanderLinden, 64, Greenleaf, Wis., died Sunday, July 18, 2004, at a Green Bay hospital. He was born March 15, 1940, in the Town of Wrightstown, to the late August and VanderLinden. Gerald married Sandra DeBroux Nov. 21, 1959, at St. Peter & St. Paul Catholic Church, Green Bay. He was a dairy farmer and since 1988 he was employed by the City of Brillion. Gerald loved to garden, spend time fishing and attending Timber Rattlers ball games with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra; one son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Terri VanderLinden, Greenleaf; two daughters, Veronica VanderLinden, Greenleaf; Shari VanderLinden, Kaukauna; nine grandchildren, Leann Geiger, Tyler Kratz, Matthew VanderLinden, Jerry Geiger, Ralph Geiger, III, Sarah VanderLinden, Michael VanderLinden, Dawn Geiger and Christine VanderLinden; brothers and sisters, Grace Calaway, Donald and Donna VanderLinden, Carl and Ann VanderLinden, Mary and Richard Rottier, Kenneth VanderLinden, Norbert and Sharon VanderLinden, Roger and Jeannie VanderLinden, Richard and Julaine VanderLinden and Rose Kramer; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Tina DeBroux; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gordon and Helen DeBroux.
Friends may call at Nickel Funeral Home, Morrison, on Wednesday, July 21, 2004, from 4 to 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Glenmore (5832 Big Apple Road) until time of service. Prayer service Wednesday at 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with Rev. Lee J. Kahrs officiating. Burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
