    Haen, Dorothy E., (Dorothy G rant Jaeckels) Formerly of Kaukauna, died Monday, December 10, 2001 at Brewster Villa ge in Appleton at the age of 92. Dorothy was born in Oconto Falls, Wiscons in on April 22, 1909, daughter of the late George and Kathryn (Robinson) G rant. For several years, Dorothy worked as a housekeeper at the Kaukauna C ommunity Hospital, retiring in 1974. She was a member and past preside nt of the Kaukauna Lady Eagles, and was also a member of the Kaukauna Gold en Agers. She enjoyed caring for her garden, playing cards, and crocheting .Survivors include a daughter: Betty (Vic) Lange of Appleton; two sons: Dav id (Linda) Haen of Appleton and Ron (Betty) Haen of Port Huron, Michiga n; a daughter-in-law: Joan Jaeckels of Kaukauna; a step-daughter: Alice M ae Christiansen of Neenah; a step-son: Richard (Joan) Haen of North Auror a, Illinois; 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-g randchild. She is also survived by a brother: James Grant of Yellville, Ar kansas; two sisters: Kathryn Bridwell of Cornell, California and Alice Glo ver of Ludington, Michigan; and by special friends: Herb and Marie Powel l, and Verna Josie. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husb ands Matthew Jaeckels and Henry Haen, a son James Jaeckels; a brother Geor ge (Elsie) Grant; step-children Dorothy Conway, Clifford Haen, Evelyn Elli s, and Cordell Michaels; a sister-in-law Marie Grant; and a brother-in-l aw Clifford Bridwell.The funeral liturgy for Dorothy will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, Decem ber 13, 2001 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukau na with Fr. Jack Mullarkey officiating. Interment will be in the parish ce metery. Friends may call directly at the church on Thursday from 2 PM unt il the hour of the liturgy. A memorial fund has been established in Doroth y's name.The family would like to extend their gratitude to her many friends and t he staff at Pioneer Village in Appleton, who made such a comfortable ho me for Dorothy, as well as to the "special angels" at Symphony Place at Br ewster Village for taking her under your caring wings.     Kaukauna - Linda L. "Jakes" Jaeckels, age 55, died Saturday, February 24, 2018 as the result of a car accident. She was born in Kaukauna on June 23, 1962 to James and Joan (Kersten) Jaeckels. She was a lifelong Kaukauna resident and graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1980. Linda was currently working at I-Pap. She was a devoted daughter, sister and aunt. Linda adored her niece, nephews, great niece and nephew and did her best to attend every one of their sporting events and school programs. She could always be counted on as the "organizer". She was always planning great ideas with family and friends events.
    Linda is survived by her mother, Joan Jaeckels of Kaukauna; siblings: Jeff of Kaukauna; Sue (Jon Klein) Monnot of Tigerton; Ken of Kaukauna; and Lisa (fiancée Brian Johnson) Krol of Kaukauna; nephews and niece: Joe and Kyle Derus and Michael and Hailey Krol; great nephew and niece: Lucas and Vanessa; and Godparents: Betty Kersten and Bob Kersten. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, and many special friends. Especially she will be missed by her dog Lucy.
    Linda was preceded in death by her father, James; and grandparents, including her Grandma Jo who she was very close to.
    Visitation will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 at HOLY CROSS PARISH (309 Desnoyer St. Kaukauna) beginning at 12:30 p.m. until time of Mass at 3:30 p.m. The Rev. Thomas Pomeroy will officiate and Deacon Bruce Corey will assist. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
