    Herman Dix, 49, 911 Crooks Ave. Kaukauna, died at 6:15 Wednesday evening. He was born in the town of Woodville on June 5, 1878. The survivors are his widow, two daughters, Mildred and Helen; five brothers, William and Phillip Dix of Kaukauna and Henry Killian of Kaukauna, Andrew Killian of Manitowoc and Adolph Killian of Washington; two sisters, Mrs. R. S. Schermitzler of Kaukauna and Mrs. Townsey of Kaukauna. The funeral will be held at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the home and at 1:30 at the Immanuel Reformed church at Kaukauna. The Rev. E. J. Worthman will conduct the services. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery at Kaukauna.

    Gladys (Dix) Frassetto, age 94, Kaukauna, passed away July 21, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. A funeral gathering will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna.     Gladys S. (Dix) Frassetto, age 94, Little Chute, passed away on July 21, 2015. She was born in Kaukauna, the daughter of the late William and Alfreida (Koehne) Dix. Gladys married Alphonso Frassetto on July 20, 1946. He preceded her in death in November of 1994. Their marriage was blessed with three children. She graduated from Kaukauna High School. Gladys was employed at Woolworth's for many years. She was an exemplary homemaker who enjoyed bread baking, canning, needlework and card games. Gladys was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, the Golden Agers and Holy Name Mission clubs for many years.
    Gladys is survived by her three children: Richard, Neil (Connie) and Shari (Matt) Hanna; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, 4 brothers and numerous other relatives and friends.
    A celebration of Glady's life will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna. Burial will be at Holy Name Cemetery. www.boettcherfamilyfuneral.com

    Ronald H. Dix, 74, Combined Locks, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, with his family by his side at Manor Care in Appleton. He said the Angels were there for him! Ron was born on Feb. 27, 1936, in Kaukauna, the son of the late Herman and Virginia (Hamer) Dix. On Sept. 1, 1956, he married Shirley Kappell at St. Mary Catholic Church in Appleton. Ron was employed at U.S. Oil Company for 40 years. He graduated from Kimberly High School in 1955 and enjoyed playing football, basketball and umpiring many baseball games. He loved being sarcastic and making people laugh! Ron spent a lot of time with his family, taking them fishing and camping, and going to the park, zoo or cottage. These good times will never be forgotten!
    Ron is survived by his wife, Shirley Dix; children, Dave (Pam) Dix, Jean (Santos) Anaya, Tom (Tina) Dix, Jim (Gail) Dix, Joe (Julie Remmel) Dix and Mark (Brenda) Dix; 15 grandchildren, Tiffany (Shane), Juanita (Andy), Mario (Lindsey), Tommy (Lindsey), Trenton, Jon, Rob, Mike, Olivia, Ali, Ashley, Missy (Kurry), Chad, Breanna and Tony; and six great-grandchildren. He is further survived by a brother, Dan Dix; four sisters-in-law, Bonnie (Leroy) Gorges, Gerry (Al) Demers, Janice (Emmett) Clark and Margie Kappell; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Ron was preceded in death by his sister, Janet (Dick) Cotnoir; sister-in-law, Marlene (Porkie) Brooks; brother-in-law, Jack Kappell; and father- and mother-in-law: Raymond and Genevieve Kappell.
    The funeral service for Ronald will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at JANSEN FARGO FUNERAL HOME. A time of visitation and support will be held on Tuesday from 3 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in his name.

She married her late husband of 52 years, Richard Cotnoir, on March 2, 1957. Janet was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family and craft making. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. He was an enthusiastic volunteer at the Salvation Army Community Garden in Appleton and the St. Vincent De Paul Store.

The twins are survived by their parents; maternal grandparents: Richard and Barb De Groot; paternal grandparents: Keith and Cheryl Baumgart; aunts and uncles: Dawn (Randy) Paltzer and their children: Amber Leitzke and her daughter Jenna, Zachary Paltzer, Tyler Paltzer, Tyler Paltzer, and Miranda Paltzer; Al (Stacy) De Groot and their children: Christopher and Alaina; Eric (Amy) De Groot and their children: Karlee, Kolin, Kaiden, and Kaylee; Brad (Sherri) Baumgart and their children: Mia, Braden, and Addison; Tammie (Trever) Bauer and their children: Mason, Riley, and Pierson; Ashley (Ryan) Toppins and their children: Seth, Alex, and Paige.
    Private family memorial services for Skye and Starr will be held at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home in Kaukauna.
