    Betty Lou Haufschildt, age 83, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011, at Parkside Care Center, Little Chute, with her family by her side. Betty Lou was born on September 21, 1927, in Appleton, daughter of the late Edward and Pearl (Wolfgram) Barber. She graduated from Appleton High School in 1945. Betty Lou was employed at Scolding Locks, Prange Way, and Julie Ann Fabrics. She was a member of the Appleton Moose Lodge 367 in the mid to late 1970's. Betty Lou was a decorated archer, winning multiple city championships. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, reading, Jigsaw puzzles, and John Wayne movies. Betty Lou was known as "The Pot Holder Lady" at many local craft sales and flea markets.
    Betty Lou is survived by three sons, Larry L. Haufschildt, Appleton, Randy L. Haufschildt, Weyeuwega, and John E. (Diane) Haufschildt, Kaukauna; one daughter, Lori A. Jones, Appleton; a daughter-in-law, Kris A. Breit, Appleton; ten grandchildren, Travis (Jessica) Haufschildt, Lisa (Mark) Handrich, James (Amanda) Haufschildt, Tina (Nick) Attoe, Brian Haufschildt, Taylor Haufschildt, Shannon Haufschildt, Amy (Eric) DeGroot, Benjamin Haufschildt, and Barnaby Jones; 12 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Ethan, Karlee, Kolin, Kaiden, Trevor, Blake, Daylyn, Kari, Lillyan, Jami, and Jeremy; one brother, Clifford (Marge) Barber, Appleton; and two sisters-in-law, Lorna Barber, Appleton, and Dorothy Kostka, Wausau.
    She was further preceded in death by her ex-husband, LeRoy Haufschildt; a son, David K. "Horse" Haufschildt; a granddaughter, Jennifer L. Haufschildt; a sister, Phyllis Jones; two brothers, Edward Barber, Jr., and Bruce (Pat) Barber.
    A private memorial service for Betty Lou will be held at a later date.

    Edward E. Barber Jr. "Bud" 78, Appleton, was called home for Christmas on Friday, Dec. 21, 2007. He was born Feb. 9, 1929, to the late Edward Sr. and Pearl (Wolfgram) Barber in Appleton. Eddie married Lorna Rubbert on Sept. 10, 1949, at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church. He was a longtime member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church. Eddie retired from Miller Electric after working there almost 30 years. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed time spent with family and the outdoors.
    He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Lorna; children, Beckie (Kurt) Grube, Tucson, Ariz.; James (Patty) Barber, Menasha; Rick (Sue) Barber, Appleton; and Robert Barber, Appleton; grandchildren, Paul (Jennifer) Grube, Anna Grube, Jon and Jenny Barber; brothers, Clifford (Marjorie) Barber, Appleton; Bruce Barber, Shawano; sisters, Phyllis (Grant) Jones, Iowa; Betty Haufschildt, Little Chute; and other relatives and friends.
    Eddie was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Patricia Barber.
    Funeral services for Edward will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 26, 2007, at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Appleton, with the Rev. Ralph C. Waack and the Rev. Kenneth Frey officiating. Entombment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
    The family would like to thank the staff at Franciscan Care Center for their kindness and exceptional care of Eddie during his stay there. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed in Eddie's name to St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church.

    Clifford E. "Kip" Barber, age 83, of Appleton, passed away Tuesday evening, September 15, 2015, at The Bridges of Appleton. Cliff was born July 14, 1932, in Appleton, the son of the late Edward and Pearl (Wolfgram) Barber. He attended and graduated from Appleton High School.
    Cliff proudly served our country in the United States Air Force, from 1952-1956 serving during the Korean Era. On February 13, 1960, he married Marjorie Miller, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church. In August 1994, he retired at the age of 62, from Tuttle Press, after 43 years of service. Following his retirement, Cliff volunteered for many years at St. Vincent De Paul of Appleton, something he thoroughly enjoyed.
    Cliff enjoyed hunting and fishing, but even more than that, he loved his large garden and sharing the bounty it provided with everyone he knew. A passion he developed from his younger years from working in a greenhouse.
    He is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie Barber; sons, Timothy Barber, Brian (Dawn) Barber, and Michael Barber; three step grandchildren, Emily, Riley and Abbey Wisnefske; Unk's buddies after his retirement, Charlotte and Barrett Wynen; and many nieces and nephews. Cliff is further survived by his sisters-in-law, Lorna Barber, Nancy Brunette, and Carol Miller; and brothers-in-law, Ed Miller and David (Julie) Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Susan; sisters, Phyllis Jones and Betty Haufschildt; brothers, Edward "Bud" Barber and Bruce Barber; brother-in-law, James Brunette; and sister-in-law, Barbara Miller.
    Family and friends may call from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m., on Sunday, September 20, 2015, at the Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond Street, Appleton. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., with Pastor Mike Huff officiating. Burial will be held on Monday, September 21, 2015, at 10 a.m., in Highland Memorial Park, with Military Honors.

    Bruce Barber, 73, Shawano, passed away Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, in Appleton. Born on May 24, 1937, in Appleton, he was the son of the late Edward and Pearl (Wolfgram) Barber. On Nov. 29, 1958, Bruce was united in marriage to Patricia A. Walrath. Patricia preceded him in death June 19, 1996.
    Bruce was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Shawano. He owned and operated Barber's Clock Repair Service for over 50 years. Bruce loved music, singing in various choral groups and church choirs over the years. His love for music also included playing the piano and accordion. Bruce also enjoyed restoring and showing antique cars.
    Bruce is survived by two daughters, Mary (Tom) Barber-Schmitz, Minneapolis, Minn.; and Julie Chandler, Aurora, Ill.; three grandchildren, Melonnie, Christopher and Benjamin. He is further survived by a sister, Betty Haufschildt, Appleton; and a brother, Clifford (Marge) Barber, also of Appleton.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; his parents; a brother, Edward Barber, Jr.; and a sister, Phyllis Jones.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Shawano, with the Rev. Peter Sherven officiating. Burial will be in Lake Drive Cemetery in the Town of Wescott. Family and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

He was born on August 19, 1952 in Appleton, son of the late Leroy and Betty Lou (Barber) Haufschildt. Randy graduated from Appleton West High School. He worked at the Larsen Co-op in Weyauwega for over 20 years. Randy loved Nascar watching the Packers and woodworking.He is survived by his children: Lisa (Mark) Handrich, James (Amanda) Haufschildt, Tina (Nick) Attoe, all of Weyauwega; Brian Haufschildt, Waupaca; grandchildren: Trevor, Owen, Kari, Daylin, Lillyan, Jami, Jeremy, Blake and Calvin; siblings: Larry Haufschildt, Menasha; John (Diane) Haufschildt, Kaukauna; Lori Jones, Appleton.
