    Obituary:
    Gerald "Jerry" Van Eperen, 68, Wrightstown entered into eternal rest aft er a short illness Feb. 16, 2001 at home surrounded by his family. The s on of Bernard and Rose (Vanden Heuvel) Van Eperen was born Aug. 9, 19 32 in Greenleaf. Jerry served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 19 55. He married Rosemary Micke on Nov. 11, 1959 at St. Paul Catholic Chur ch in Wrightstown. Jerry farmed and drove truck until 1972 when he began w orking at Morning Glory Dairy, where he was employed for 20 years until se mi-retiring in 1992. He was a life long member of St. Paul Catholic Chur ch where he was a member of the Holy Name Society. Jerry was a member of t he American Legion Urban Klister Post 436 in Wrightstown, and was a memb er of the De Pere V.F.W. Post 2113. Jerry attended many country music fest ivals and was an avid member of the Chely Wright Fan Club, and he and Ros ie traveled around the country to see her perform. He enjoyed spending ti me with his grandchildren, and regularly visiting with friends at t he D & G Restaurant.
    Jerry is survived by his wife, Rosie; four sons and daughters-in-law, Ri ck (Jenny) Van Eperen, Kaukauna; Mike (Cathy) Van Eperen, Wrightstown; J oe (Wendy) Van Eperen, Greenleaf; Bernie (Laurel) Van Eperen, Wrightstow n; 12 grandchildren, Josh, Amanda, Cody, Brett, Sara, Aaron, Katie, Heathe r, Craig, Travis, Rachel, and Matthew; brothers and sisters, Elaine Reit z, Wrightstown; Dorothy (Bill) Lamers, Roger (Doloris) Van Eperen, a ll of Hollandtown; Mary Ellen Kalies, Kaukauna; Marv (Collette) Van Epere n, Crivitz; Maureen (Tom) Van Zeeland, Wrightstown; Dan (Dianne) Van Epere n, Melbourne, Florida. He is also survived by Rosie's family: Margaret (Cl arence) Smet, Seymour; Eugene (Doloris) Micke, Carol (Jerry) Ederer, Mari an (Brian) Grode, all of Kaukauna; Patty (Bob) Gerend, Greenleaf; Helen (B ob) Fritsch, Appleton; Betty (Chuck) Headings, Muscoda, Wis.; Bob Micke, K aukauna; Mary (Jim) Dickrell, Monticello, Minn.; Kathy (Paul) Miller, Bell evue; Bill (Jean) Micke, Greenleaf.
    Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers-in-law, Don Rei tz and Ken Kalies; two nephews, Mark Lamers and Ron Reitz.
    Family and friends may call at DeWane/Cotter Funeral Home 711 Main St. Wri ghtstown on Sunday, Feb. 18 (TODAY) from 4 to 9 p.m. American Legion servi ce 7 p.m. Prayer service 7:15 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday, Fe b. 19 at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the procession leaves for chur ch. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Catholic Chur ch Wrightstown, with the Rev. Bob Kabat officiating. Interment wi ll be in the church cemetery in the spring. The family would like to exte nd their thanks to Unity Hospice, the 2nd floor staff of Bellin Hospita l, Chris Neumeyer, Dr. McGovern, Dr. Pathakjee, and Dr. Cain.
