    Obituary:
Hortonville - Margaret Ann Sager, 75, passed away peacefully with family by her side on July 8, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, WI. Marge was born in Appleton on September 14, 1942 to Frank and Julia (Young) Schabo. She graduated from Hortonville School in 1960. Marge married the love of her life, Robert S. Sager on July 6, 1963. She was able to spend her 55th wedding anniversary with her husband, Bob, on July 6th. Their marriage serves an inspiration and a beautiful example for their children, grandchildren, and everyone who knew them.
Bob's Army career took them to Germany, and Fort Knox, Kentucky. Marge and Bob finally settled in Hortonville to raise their children next to her father's farm. Marge encouraged her children and grandchildren to try new activities and to be involved in school - supporting them all the way.
She worked a variety of customer service jobs. Her favorite experiences were the time she spent at Photoland until the location closed and at Clover Chiropractic until her retirement. Marge loved being the first person to welcome customers and patients into the businesses. She also volunteered at AMC Hospital, continued to have lunch with her Photoland friends, helped organize and enjoyed her yearly class reunions, and helped to organize the Young Family Reunion.
Marge and Bob dedicated their free time to supporting their six grandchildren as they pursued their athletic and musical interests. She cheered at swim meets, volleyball, football, softball, baseball, basketball, hockey, and lacrosse games, track meets, and enjoyed piano recitals, band concerts, award programs and graduations. She was a busy and proud Grandma! Marge along with her husband loved to travel and visited Florida, Texas, Branson, Washington D.C., Minnesota, Mackinaw Island, and hundreds of trips to Janesville.
Marge is survived by her loving husband Bob; their two children: Julie (David) Funk, Janesville, and Rob (Debra) Sager, Hortonville; six grandchildren: Allison, Kaylyn and Hayden Funk, Collin, Brittany and Ashley Sager; two brothers: Willard Schabo, New London, Herb Schabo, Hortonville; sister-in-law, Nancy (Don) Smith, Delavan, brothers-in -law: Dennis (Jean) Potts, California, and Richard (Donna) Sagar, New London, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Frank and Julia; mother-in-law Geraldine (Potts); father-in-law Randolph Sagar; step-mother-in-law Ruth Sagar; brother Frank Schabo Jr.; two sisters: LaVerne Schabo, Rosalyn Fulcer; brother in law Thomas Fulcer.
The family would like to sincerely thank all the doctors and nurses at St. Elizabeth's Cancer center, and all the nurses, social workers, and chaplains through Ascension Hospice for all your loving support and care that you gave our Mother. We are forever grateful for your kindness.
The Funeral Mass for Marge will be held at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Adam Bradley and Parish Director Greg Layton officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Hortonville. A visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
