    Gunther, Marion G.
    Marion G. Gunther, Menasha, age 89, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2008, at Oakridge Gardens, Menasha, WI. She was born on September 3, 1919, daughter of the late Rudy and Anna (Stein) Forster. She married Cyril Gunther, on July 30, 1949; he preceded her in death on December 11, 1998. Marion loved knitting and crafting and donated her work to hospitals, her church, and the community. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church of Menasha.
    Marion is survived by her three children: Robert (Linda) Gunther, Mississ-ippi, William (Tracy) Gunther, Neenah, Barbara (Gary) Elmer, Neenah; a brother, Hubert Forster, Appleton; a sister, Helen North, NC; six grandchildren: David (Mary Anna), Neil (Jennifer), Katie, Paul (Angel), Tommy (Valerie), Carrie (Jason) Moore; five great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
    Marion was also preceded in death by her five brothers: Edward, Andrew, Norbert, Raymond, Kenneth; and five sisters: Dorothy Beschta, Irene Schmidt, Eunice Strege, Margaret Miller and Joan Gmeiner.
    The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2008, at St. John Catholic Church, 516 De Pere Street, Menasha, with Fr. Paul Radetski officiating. Family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church. Internment will take place at St. John Cemetery, Menasha.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and all the caregivers of Oakridge Gardens, Heartland Hospice, and Theda Clark, who lovingly took care of Marion.

    Hubert Thomas Forster, age 84, died on Tuesday, February 9, 2010. He was born on May 23, 1925, the son of the late Rudolph and Anna (Stein) Forster. Hub was a veteran of the Navy who served his country honorably. He worked as a boiler operator for Consolidated Newspapers for 25 years until his retirement. Hub was a loving father of six children who enjoyed camping, boating and the outdoors. He always put others before himself and above all, loved to spend time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
    Hub is lovingly survived by his children: Jim (Mary) Forster, Ann Hajenga, Ronny Forster, Debbie Forster, Randy (Dawn) Forster, Ricky Forster; grandchildren: Stephanie, Sean, Rachel, Jacob, Sarah, John, Adam, Becky, Tara; great-grandchildren: Andre, Brandon, Chianti, Hailey, Gabe, sister, Helen North and good family friend, Eugene Otte.
    He was preceded in death by several brothers, sisters and in-laws.
    Funeral services for Hub will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2010, at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, with Fr. Larry Abler officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service. The committal will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund for Hub has been established.

    Joan Marie Gmeiner (Forster), 76, Lakewood, formerly of Appleton and Green Bay, passed away on Nov. 9, 2007. Joan was born in Appleton on April 3, 1931, to the late Rudolph and Anna (Stein) Forster. She lived most of her life in the Appleton and Green Bay areas, retiring to Lakewood in 1992. On Aug. 1, 1953, she married Robert Gmeiner, who preceded her in death on July 16, 2001. In addition to taking care of her family, Joan had worked as a jewelry sales clerk. She loved playing bridge and socializing especially with the "Red Hat Society."
    Joan is survived by three sons, John (Donna) Gmeiner, Townsend; Greg (Julie) Gmeiner, Appleton; David Gmiener, Appleton. She is further survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, Bob Gmeiner (special friend, Julie), Appleton; Ben (Hannah) Gmeiner and their children, Jacob and Andrew, Neenah; Terri (Dennis) Borchardt and their children, Abbey and Seger, Lakewood; two sisters, Helen North, Winston-Salem, N.C. and Marion Gunther, Menasha; one brother, Hub Forster, Appleton; and nieces, nephews and friends.
    The visitation is on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2007, at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Lakewood, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass at 11 a.m. Fr. David Schmidt is officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

    Appleton - Paul R. Forster (Pauly), age 78, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018. Paul was born on May 1, 1939 to the late Andrew and Eleanor (Kamba) Forster. Paul graduated from Menasha High School in 1958. He assisted his parents who owned and operated Appleton Harley Davidson's sales and service from the late 50's to the early 60's. He married Darlene Simon on June 20, 1964 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Paul rode a variety of Harley's and was a charter member of the Fox Valley Riders Motorcycle Club as well as Waverly Beach North Enders Fishing Club. He also belonged to the Twin City Rod and Gun Club for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to his cabin is central Wisconsin. In 2008, Paul joined the C. T. O. Club (Challenge The Outdoors Inc.).
    Paul will be greatly missed by his wife of 54 years, Darlene; children: Tim (Sandy) Forster and Dave (Sarah) Forster; grandchildren: Andy, Nick, Ashley, Megan, Remington, and Rook Forster, and Ariana and Raymond Beecher. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in passing by both parents; daughter, Kerrie Forster; and a grandson, Nick Beecher.
    A celebration of Paul's life will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, LAEMMRICH CHAPEL, 312 Milwaukee St., Menasha. There will be a time of visitation from 2:30 until the celebration. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.

    Ann Marie Hajenga (Forster), 60 years, passed away November 21, 2017 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center - Appleton. She was born May 17, 1957 to her parents Hubert T. and Carol J. Forster (Nemecek). She was a graduate of Appleton West High School, Class of 1975. Ann was a dedicated employee of Kaukauna Cheese Co., later Bel Brands, for 39+ years as a cooker.
    Ann loved to spend her personal time with family at their parent's cottage in Cecil, Wisconsin. "Up-North" she loved to fish and go for boat rides. She and her husband Dennis looked forward to the annual trip to the Sheboygan Brat Fest to celebrate. At home Ann prepared a "baked dish" for family events that generations have enjoyed. In quieter times she loved to knit. She was always eager to hear of the activities her nieces and nephews were involved in.
    Ann will be missed by her siblings Jim (Mary) Forster, Ron Forster, Debbie Forster, Randy (special friend Dawn Forster) Forster and Ricky Forster, nieces Steffanie (Matt) Walsh, Rachel Forster, Sarah (fiancée Noll Isley) Forster, and Tara Forster, nephews Sean Forster, Jacob Forster, John Monahan, and Adam Forster. Further survived by friends of the family Eugene Otte and Pat Monahan, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends as well as her beloved "Bear".
    Preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a nephew Elijah Forster.
    A Funeral Service for Ann will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 5:00 pm at Wichmann-Fargo Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St. Private interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Appleton. Family and friends may call Monday, at the Wichmann-Fargo Funeral Home, from 3:00 pm until time of Service.
    Special thank you to the ICU staff at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center for their professional and loving care of Ann.
