    Angela M. "Angie" Feavel, age 94, of Appleton, passed away at Theda Clark Medical Center on Saturday, January 29, 2011. Angie was born on November 17, 1916, in Stockbridge, to the late Herbert C. and Anna (Schomisch) Parker. When she was three, her family moved to Appleton. Angie graduated from St. Mary Parochial School and in 1934 she graduated from Appleton High School. In 1939, she married Jack Feavel. They lived in Madison until he graduated from the University of Wisconsin. The couple then moved back to Appleton for three years while he worked for the Institute of Paper Chemistry. After moving to Hilbert, they owned and operated the Hilbert Recreation Bowling Lanes for 14 years. Angie was employed at Kimberly-Clark Corporation and also the Scolding Locks Corporation. The couple moved to Neenah, on Lake Winnebago, where they resided for over 40 years. The past year and a half they have lived at The Heritage. Angie was a member of the Fox Valley Bowling Association for many years, where she held several offices. She loved to read and travel. Her granddaughters were her pride and joy. Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Jack; and her son, James (Patti) Feavel, Appleton. She is further survived by her granddaughters, Lisa (Paul) Derfus, Appleton; Shannon (Kevin) Abernathy, Appleton and Jennifer (Doug) Gieryn, Neenah; Three great grandsons, Bobby Derfus, Reed Gieryn and Zechariah Abernathy; her great granddaughters, Olivia Derfus and Kelly Gieryn; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, John Spencer (Yvonne) Feavel; her sister, Altha (Don) Acord; and three brothers, Roland (Mary) Parker, Leo (Marjorie) Parker and John "Jack" (Doris) Parker. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 312 S. State Street, Appleton, with Fr. Jim Leary, OFM CAP. officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the physicians and staff at Theda Clark Medical Center for their loving care.

    John R. Parker, age 81, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Brewster Village in Appleton following a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. John was born April 11, 1930 to the late Rowley and Josephine (Nytes) Parker. On June 5, 1953, he was united in marriage to Hazel Laux. John had a long, honorable career as a police officer with the Appleton Police Department, retiring as a lieutenant. In 1988, he was named Outstanding Police Officer of the Year. Survivors include his wife Hazel; three sons: Michael, Appleton; Patrick (Debbie), Grand Chute; Gregory (Kari), Shawano; two brothers: Robert (Margaret), Appleton; Richard (Pam), Hubertus; one sister: Leila Becher, Appleton; sisters-in-law: Dorothy "Wren" Laux, Clintonville; Virginia (Richard) Allen, Bonner Springs, KS; Patricia (Wayne) Struchtemeyer, Olathe; KS; brother-in-law: Donald Laux, Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren: Sarah Parker, Jessica Parker, Christopher and Courtney Parker; Great-grandson, Cashton; very special friend of the family: Debra Parker and many dear nieces, nephews, and friends.     John Spencer Feavel, age 69, of the Town of Saxeville, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2010, in Neenah. He was born on August 18, 1940, a son of John R. and Angela M. (nee Parker) Feavel. John was united in marriage to Yvonne D. Hendrickson on June 28, 1969, in Appleton, WI. John received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Correctional Administration in 1962 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison followed by a Masters Degree in Social Work. Early in his career John was a social worker at Fox Lake Correctional Institution and then as a Probation and Parole Agent in Appleton. In 1971, he was promoted to Unit Supervisor in Appleton and transferred to Waupaca in 1989, where he continued to work until his retirement in 1998. John served with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for 36 years. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and, most recently, his grandchildren. John was also a proud and involved member of the Wisconsin Association of Lakes.
    John is survived by his daughter, Jennifer and (Douglas) Gieryn; grandchildren, Reed and Kelly Gieryn, all of Neenah; his parents, John "Jack" and Angela Feavel of Appleton; one brother, Jim (Patti) Feavel of Menasha; also by nieces, other relatives and special friends, John and Sandy Barket.
    John was preceded in death by his wife Yvonne on December 11, 2007.
    John's family will receive relatives and friends at Appleton Highland Memorial Park, 3131 N. Richmond Ave. in Appleton, on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Michael Huff will officiate. Entombment will be in the mausoleum.
    The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials in John's name may be directed to the Wisconsin Association of Lakes.

    Jeffrey John Post, age 59, of Appleton, was called home to Christ on Tuesday, March 8, 2016. Jeffrey was born in Appleton on January 22, 1957 to Franklin and the late Carol (Stoffel) Post. He graduated at Appleton West High School with the class of 1975. He played the saxophone through high school and also enjoyed being a member of the Americanos, traveling with them as far as California. Like his mother, Jeff took great pride in cleaning, he worked for several cleaning companies through the years, and he enjoyed using his talents helping family and friends.
    Jeff was a very caring person, always putting others and their happiness first before himself. He loved the outdoors, especially camping and spending time at the family cottage at White Lake. He was an excellent cook and loved to cook for others, even going as far as delivering his meals to friends and family. He enjoyed staying busy working, and had a great love for music. When his family went away from home, they could always depend on Jeff to take care of their pets, he had a great love for animals. Jeff adored all of his nieces and nephews who brought great joy to his life. If you did a favor or something nice for Jeff, he would always smile and tell you that "you were his favorite." Jeff had many favorites in the family! Jeff was very grateful to his grandmother Altha Acord who was his angel on earth and always looked out for him.
    He will be deeply missed by his father, Franklin Post, Appleton; three sisters: Sharon (Jeremy) McNew, Ann Hetherington, and Laurie Bender, all of Appleton; three brothers: Jon (Julie) Post, Sherwood, Jim (Susan) Post, Appleton, and Eric (Chary) Post, Appleton, in addition, Allen's significant other Jean Grapengieser; his beloved nieces and nephews: Samuel, Peter, Calvin, Amy, Nicole, Stacey, Ashley, Ryan, Tyler, Megan, Katie, Kristen, Allen, Lindsey, Jack, Trai, and Britiny. He was further survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
    He was preceded in death by his mother, and a brother Allen.
    The Post family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the many people who enriched Jeff's life over the years.
    A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 am on Wednesday, March 16, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 213 E. Wisconsin Ave., Appleton, with Father Bill Hoffman officiating. Friends and relatives may visit at the church on Wednesday from 9 am until the time of service. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Appleton.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
