    Mary Ann Schwaller, 82, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2011, at Appleton Medical Center. Mary Ann was born on February 21, 1929, in Brillion, daughter of the late Joseph and Nell (Dahlman) Schwaller. Mary Ann worked as a payroll clerk at Brillion Iron Works for 43 years and volunteered her time at the Clothes Closet.
    Mary Ann is survived by her sister, Bette Lou Fairfield, Janesville; sister-in-law, Margaret Schwaller, Appleton; two nieces, Risa (Vern) Thibodeau, Appleton; and Brenda (Tim) Tobin, Janesville; six nephews, Greg (Marsha) Fairfield, Cambridge, Wis.; Neil Fairfield, Janesville; Robert Larson, Madison; Richard Larson, Appleton; Steven Larson, Waukesha; and Michael Schwaller, Indiana; close cousin, Doris Mae Neumeyer; a lifelong friend, Grace School, Appleton; and many others cousins and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Roger Schwaller; and two sisters, Dorothy Larson and Charleyne Brennard.
    The funeral liturgy will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 2, 2011, at ST. THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1810 N. McDonald Street, Appleton, with Fr. Jim Lucas officiating and Fr. Gerald Falk as concelebrant and homilist. Friends may call on Monday at church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, Brillion.
    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary Ann's name may be made to a fund being established.

    Charleyne Brennand, Appleton, entered into the loving arms of her Savior Sunday, August 1, 2010. She was born May 6, 1931, in Brillion, daughter of Joseph and Nell (Dahlman) Schwaller. Sam was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Appleton. She was employed as an accountant for Kimberly Clark, Neenah, for many years. Sam enjoyed gardening and loved sharing her harvest with others. She also enjoyed caring for other people; she was a very compassionate person. Sam is survived by 2 sisters, Bette Lou Fairfield and Maryann Schwaller; a special nephew and niece, Gregg and Marsha Fairfield; her adopted daughter, Linda Kryszak; numerous nieces and nephews. Sam was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Bob and Roger Schwaller; and a sister, Dorothy Larson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at ST. PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH, 500 W. Marquette Street, Appleton, with Fr. Tom Farrell officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the mass. A memorial has been established for St. Pius X Parish. Sam's family would like to give a special thank you to Sam's neighbors Mike and Denise, and Deacon Rick Simon for their love and compassion, as well as the doctors and nurses at Appleton Medical Center.
