    Obituary:
    Grace Angst Balza, 90, died on June 8, 2016. She was born on September 15th 1925 to Joseph Valentine Angst and Marion Van Lanen Angst in Green Bay. She married G. Tony Balza on October 5th, 1946. Earlier that year, she began managing the Northside Grocery Store. She gave up the business to raise 4 children. Ever in love of learning, Grace started college in 1966, completing a bachelor's in communications disorders in 1973 and a master's in 1978. She was a speech and hearing therapist in the Shiocton school system until retirement. She was active at St. Thomas More, the League of Women Voters and Bread for the World. She loved to read, play piano, knit, crochet and write poetry.
    She will be missed by her husband G. Tony, Appleton; children: John (Mary) Balza, Fort Collins, CO; Richard (Charlotte) Balza, Renton, WA; Robert (Cynthia) Balza, Appleton and Ann (Steve) Hlas, Eagen, MN; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers: James, John and Roger (Barb) Angst and a sister Joyce Scheer; numerous nieces and nephews.
    Grace was preceded in death by a sister Alice (Elton 'Mike') Van Schynle; a brother Roland (Joyce) Angst; two sisters-in-law: Eunice and Virginia and a brother-in-law Loren Scheer.
    A Mass of Resurrection for Grace will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Appleton with Rev. Gerald Falk and Rev James Lucas presiding. Entombment will take place in Allouez Cemetery, Green Bay, WI. Friends may visit the family on Monday at Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel from 5 - 8 PM, with a prayer service to begin at 7 PM and Tuesday directly at church from 9 - 11 AM. The family wishes to thank the wonderful care our mother received at Brewster Village and with Affinity Hospice. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association .
